Profile:"Unyielding resolve has no conqueror".........very grim epitaph indeed.
The Ultimate Autobot Defence Force has arrived and boy was the wait worth it! In all his G1 blockiness glory, no DW style poses here people, just his butt ugly mug that now has a simulated eyes and nose module.
For the Japanese market, this is the first time he was officially sold as "Omega Supreme" , for me ;Dmy first Omega Supreme,so everyone is happy.
Contents:
Biocard and instruction sheet
Decal sheet (oh the horror! )
Omega Supreme "tank"(head and torso)
OMS Command module(plasma blaster arm)
OMS Rocket "booster"(clawed arm)
Wing Shield(tracks)
Back pack( Launch tower)
Leg armor (Launch tower)
Foot module (Launch tower)
Clips(4)
Box
Clear plastic holding frame
Review:
Omega is a weird tf, the only real transformation he has is the tank to body, the rest kind of like serves as a battle armor.................reminds me of Godbomber from Masterforce.
This is not a lazy re-issue brothers, like Skylynx, who had some additional paint apps, OS got himself an honest to goodness optics and nose module( too much to hope for a mouth module though). Also the Autobot symbol is stamped on his chest.
Overall he is quite sturdy with the exception of his shoulder joints, though his "arms" are made of light materials, its point of gravity is concentrated on the joints so handle with care amigos.
Another potential problem would be his leg armor clips so handle with care if you plan to constantly transforming him.
He has a working motor powered by two pen light batteries so he can walk(albeit real slow and run along his "train"tracks and swivel his turret head. (Reports has it that the original motor was prone to malfunction)
Now the horror............hehehe, the guy simply has too many decals. Sure if you want to be "box accurate" you have no choice, but really, it took me an hour applying all of the decals ( I still have some which I don't know where to apply them too.)
Want factor: For G1 fans, hands down a must buy. For first timers, you may be turned off by his what the f*k look of his which kind of looks like a fat insectoid like diver with wings without hands.
Availability: Specialty stores everywhere.
