I just got this bruiser.................and the box says Leader Class so please correct me if I am wrong, leader class is larger than Voyager right?
Anyway here's my review on the latest "Emperor of Destruction"
Transform mode: we all know that his Cybertron mode was well.....................sort of like the movie Megs with his wings clipped. This one marks a departure for previous Megs from: gun, bigger gun(Galvatron), tank (nearly all until Superlink when he became a Cybertron jet), RID he was a multi changer. In Galaxy force a race car cum jet.
This time he looks like a mix between the US Navy's controversial Osprey and the fictional Cobra Mamba.

Contents:
Box
Plastic frame
twisties
Osprey/Mamba hybrid helicopter "Megatron"
#2 rotor blades which transforms to twin sabers(the other blade is found under the box.
instruction manual.......ubber useless
advertisment in color catalog in newsprint paper
Appearance:
Robot Mode:
A great homage to G1 Megs, flat gray, mixed with black and red plus the signature "bucket head".

also a closer look and you see strong influences in the main design to Star Convoy's nemesis Super Megatron

To sum it all up he looks uber macho and ready to kick @ss!

Gimmick:
www.seibertron.com/transformers/toys/animated/megatron/1530/1/71/
Press the emblem and he says
""Crush the Autobots!", "Where is the AllSpark?", and evil laughter.
So this means he's powered by two AA power cells.
Personal rant:
IMHO, this Megatron rules over the movie Megs (no comparison true) but mix classic G1 plus modern aesthetics cum Justice League and you get this monster!(and I mean monster in a good way ) Plus the fact that he is a double sword fencer ala "Cervantes" from Soul Calibur and you get a warrior without peer.
His face is scary, really...to quote this era's BB......"the Megatron who eats protoforms for......" is an apt description indeed.
Posing him despite with limitations is no problem though he has this kind of girly stand when standing straight. He is quite heavy but stable (didn't do the kick test though)
One strange thing...........how come Hasbro gives a green light to this Megatron with two pointy swords while cuts off Optimus' smokestacks beggar the imagination
Overall, in a scale of 1 to 5, I give him a 1............. seriously a 4.8.
Buy factor? Depends on your preference.............but after watching season 1 (especially "Megatron Rising"................
