Bandai SHF Domon Kasshu /G Gundam

Hi all, here's Bandai's newest action figure line, the SHFiguarts series. I figured I'd try it out since it's not too expensive (around the same price as Revoltech figures). I got this while I was in Hong Kong last month I don't think they've made it into the local market yet. The next release in the line will be Kamen Rider Kabuto.

Cross-shaped scar on Domon's right cheek.




Diecast shoulder pads, wrist and leg bands. I'm not sure if the spines on Domon's back are diecast as well though. I think they are.





Comes with a display stand that's based on the Gundam Fighter's c0ckpit.

One big downside is that the peg on the right wrist keeps popping off on mine. I don't know if this is just isolated to my unit only. It pops back in without any problems though.





I guess for me this is one of my favorite scenes from the G Gundam anime, the awakening of the God Gundam, followed by the dash to Neo Hong Kong before time runs out.

hehe. Domon is definitely giving the (god) Finger at the other current jointed figs. Its worth taking a look once it is locally available.

Do hope you have a comparison pics next to revoltechs and figmas though sir Gold.

the official first one released in the SHFiguArts line i think is Mask Rider Version 1. ^_^
though, unofficially it is Momotaros from the two pack of Flatform + Momotaros from Kamen Rider Den-O ^_^

Whoops, my bad, thanks for the correction Immaterial. The series isn't numbered and since I didn't see any other SHF figures anywhere I thought Domon was the first release.


Thanks Mykeleleng, sorry but I won't be able to post any pics of it next to any Figmas since I don't collect the line, I also passed on the the "human" Revoltech figures.
