wouldn't it be better to check Google before asking around. Dyeing plastic is available over the internet and you could have seen more info. This is a bit difficult than painting plastic, but according to some the dye is infused on the plastic and could not be scratched off easily.

One thing for sure, NEVER do this on new kits without, get trial dyeing with the sprues or older kits, plastic will melt in hot water so be careful.

It would be better though if the raw material is a blank (white) or grey, colored plastic might react differently when applied with another color.

Check google for the supplier by typing "Dyeing plastic".
