It is with great sadness for me to announce that our dear friend and comrade, Edison Lee aka yoncha (and his wife), had passed away last November 12 at around 7M due to a car accident in Butuan.
To all who have dealt, messaged and even talked to him, you know how good he was and helpful in any little way. I, pesonally, was shocked to have heard the news since he just got married a few weeks back. I only met him 2x in my life but got to know better him through message boards like GT. I traded my MP3 to his training getter. Seeing that getter will always remind me of him.
I would like to offer my condolences to his family. Yoncha, may you and your wife rest in peace! Goodbye my fellow Cebuano!

I was really shocked to learn today while I was at the shop at BTC to scout out some items...i don't usually go there but for some reason I wanted to go there...and then i learned from the staff there that yoncha and his wife dies yesterday... I met Yoncha at the greattoys boards because we had the same passion for DINO RIDERS...you don't find collectors interested in Dino Riders everyday so we were PM'ing and exchanging notes on where to find Dino riders and etc... He was also the first collector that I met here in Cebu when I arrived here 2 years ago and he was also the first guy to greet me at a small EB at Banilad Town Center Cebu. I lost contact with him for some time and then around 2 weeks ago, I encountered him here at PTK saying that he was recently on a trip from Singapore. I PM'd him and we exchanged PM's, he was suprised na nadito pa ako sa cebu pala, akala nya bumalik na ako Manila. I'll miss him and the brief meetings that we had. Bro yoncha, I'll miss you but I'll treasure the very brief moment we met 2 years ago. Taken at BTC Hobbyshaft November 11, 2006 around 6pm-7pm yata...coincidence? from l-r: gian7675,yoncha,ryanrocks,delta,redranger,Malvin and chaoz

It's really sad news. He was one of those people who was really helpful during my early start at the boards. We had traded MP3's thru email and multiply and he's always one of the person's who's online on my YM. It was a complete shock to hear that he got into an accident only weeks after his marriage. Though I have never met him personally, he was one of the most helpful and accommodating people here at the boards.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends. May he and his wife rest in peace.

This is really a sad news...
I just started collecting Spawn figs w/c I remember few years back that he also collects lots of Spawn. I am amazed w/ his collection, including the Spawn figs. I am about to ask him in regards w/ the figs. He even came out of my mind, for real, just a few days back, i don't know why is that.
May he and his wife rest in peace in heaven... Farewell then.

He's one of the main reasons why I joined boards or forums. Although I am a collector myself, our path never crossed in Cebu. Never met him in personal (even just once). When I arrive at BTC, he's out and when there's an EB, I'm not in. I still have a lot to ask yoncha but I was just shocked with the news. Here's a picture obtained from www.istorya.net/forums/hobbies-and-crafts/2265-toy-collectors-club-cebu-merged-thread-103.html that shows yoncha and his wife, together with some close friends and collectors of Cebu a month or so ago. My sincere condolences to the family and as well as may you rest in peace, yoncha....
