side note:
you should check hobby japan's dec issue its has a custom made VF-25s with additional locking parts and folding landing gear, it might give you an idea on its transformation enhancement

Nice review! I love the plane mode except for the landing gears. Why all gray?  Btw, is this a snap on kit or does it need gluing? Or both? |
