hello pipol! I just started collecting toys of one of my favorite anime "One Piece". Hoping you can give some infos where I can go and hunt for these stuff ;D Thanks in advance. Also I was wondering are there fake toys? If there are fake toys how would I know if its a fake? thanks again.  |

Hi and Welcome, well, if you're looking for 1/8 scale figures, GT has some of them, try also the buy/sell forum here someone might be selling them. Try also wasabi toys or some other shops in Greenhills.
For bootlegs, yes, there are, since One Piece 1/8 figs are by Megahouse, the bootlegs could be identified easily by looking at the box, different figs all have same name in their boxes. Also, the price and try to look at the quality as well, fakes have obvious flaws like the sculpt and colors. Well, hope this helps

Thanks for the info. but if you don't mind do you have any pictures or info how to distiguish the bootlegs from the original? Most of the toys I have bought are inside boxes what about those that are sold without the boxes anymore? Are there any shops I should be aware of? Also I found a boxed set in shopsville but I wasn't sure if the toys was original because the designs and pictures of the box were somewhat faded and blurred like its was soaked in water. but all the 4 boxes were like that should I assume it's a bootleg? thanks so much in advnace
