Wheeljack was the resident mad scientist respected by friend and foe alike. Sometimes he's his worst enemy with all the injuries he'd get from his inventions.
Earth mode is a customized Lancia Stratos that looked uber cool decked with Lancia and Alitalia decals.
Contents:
Box
Wheeljack Lancia Stratos
4 missiles
2 missile launcher
2 wings
2 label decals ( clear )
1 instruction manual
Comparison to G1:
Paint apps nearly spot on for the face except for the white part over the die-cast part(kind off looking dirty white) on his front fender.
Molding is neat, no degradation noted but the black part though smooth, not glossy (same with the original Scamper from Encore Metroflex).
Black wheels are neat including the rubber for the tires.
Same with the missile launchers, neat but not black glossy. Great firing power though.
His hands don't flop like the original.
Labels are well done, not cheapo looking.
Instruction manual not cheapo looking but the box had (1) spelling error.
Now the bad news.............the rivets used to keep the wheels in place.....................kind of cheap looking. I believe it can easily be remedied but it will entail removing it and maybe like filing them smooth.
Sorry about the picture quality, I'm not too adept with the cybershot cam and this is his robot mode...2 x transformed and still as tight............so here goes:
with box
close up (with reprolabel face upgrade)
right side
left side
back side
Trouble is I can't quite focus on the wheel rivets I mentioned but over all, this version isn't all that bad at all.
