Images from Toyfare. Looks like the 25th Anniv line will go on hiatus (for now) as the movie toys go full swing. Please click to view larger images. Thanks to Iamsylar and Topnotch97 over at PTK for the images. A few vehicles from the movie, but will come with figures from the 25th Anniv line (is that Thunder?) Gold

I hope that Road Block will be inside the movie. He is my favourite Joe besides Snake Eyes.

I don't think Roadblock is in the movie. If I remember right, they opted to use "Heavy Duty", Roadblock's brother for the movie (I'm no 100% sure about this) due to Copyright issues (Hasbro almost lost the rights to the name "Roadblock" a while back). Movie vehicles update. toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=9&itemid=14067-Ice Dagger with Frostbite - Nightraven - Rockslide with Snow Job - Cobra Hummer Unfortunately, the Night Raven isn't the vintage toy "reissued". It's not half bad but I'll probably give it a miss, I'm curious about Frostbite though, if it resembles the classic toon look then I guess I'll pick it up. Edit: Ugh... looks like Frostbite doesn't look anything like the classic figure. blog.wired.com/geekdad/2009/02/exclusive-ne.....w-g.html Gold

They are planning to do a trilogy for this movie. Those that are not in this movie may appear in the future GI Joe movies.

somehow 'm underwhelmed by those movie action figures. i'm leaning towards passing up on this line. and coming from someone who's been a fan of gi joe since the 1980s, that's saying something.

Here's the final nail in the coffin for me. "Leaked" image of the GiJoe PIT HQ playset. Originally, early Walmart (or was it Target?) had listings for this and a lot of folks had hoped it will be a reissue of the original 1980's PIT Joe HQ. I guess that's far from it. It looks more like a Rolling Thunder vehicle. I somehow don't see this vehicle being worth $90-$100 (as listed). Heck, the TMNT Fast Forward Hover HQ was big but only costs $40 and seems almost the same (although this one comes with electronics). Please click to view larger image. Image courtesy of Hisstank forums. www.hisstank.com/gi-joe-news/gi-joe-movie-2/gi-joe-movie-rise-of-cobra-the-pit-7996/LOL! Snake-Fries Potato Head! ;D BTW, the Ice Dagger is a "reissue" from the Valor vs. Venom line. Ice Saber. www.yojoe.com/vehicles/04/icesabre/Well, short of any 25th Anniv Joe Characters coming out in the assortments, I'm going to pass on the movie figures. Gold
