Here's my year end hauls ;D c/o mikeof as an exchange gift ;D I quit collecting tf's several months ago. But I couldn't resist getting one seeing the price tag is very low than the original price. It's consider an impulse buy for me and I'm a sucker with combiners ;D I bought this as a gift to someone. I hope she likes it ;D

OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon Unit Type: Transformable Close Combat Mobile Weapon This mobile suit was created by Treize Khushrenada during the time he was placed under confinement by the Romefeller Foundation. Based on data from the Tallgeese and the other Gundams, and in keeping with Treize's philosophy, the Gundam Epyon, Greek for "next," eschews cowardly long-range weapons in favor of chivalrous close combat. Since it has no projectile weapons, its main weapons are a segmented, whip-like heat rod, and a powerful beam sword whose energy is supplied by a direct connection to the Epyon's generator. Treize installed a modified version of the Zero System into the thingypit as well, making this suit a powerful opponent. Armaments: Heat Rod - A segmented whip-like projected chain housed in Epyon's shield. Deactivated, it can be used to trip or entangle an opponent. When activated, the material becomes super-heated, allowing it to cut and burn through armor. Beam Saber - The main weapon of the epyon, connected directly to the suit's powerplant as opposed to running on its own internal power source, allowing its length and intensity to be adjusted considerably to cut through even heavily armored mobile suits like the Virgo. MA Mode The Epyon can also transform into a "mobile armor" mode (referred to as 'dragon-mode') for high-speed flight. The unit resembles a mythological dragon in this mode, however its primary weapons are inaccessible save for the Epyon Claws which are used as landing gear in this form. Search Eye - A search eye for used for combat, of the same type used by the Shenlong Gundam. It also gathers data that the cameras and antennas cannot. ZERO System - Treize had a modified version of the deadly ZERO System installed in Epyon's thingypit. The system operated the same as the one in the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero, but Epyon's had the pilot wear a special helmet on their head. Final Thoughts: It's an old vintage kit and up to now doesn't had any mg treatment. It's a snap built kit with limited articulation/s and poses it can do. But if done purely (snap-build) tendency that the joints would tend to loose and must be remedied. Also the sticker to be applied on its upper chest isn't fits well so I decided to removed and painted it using gundam marker. Quite surprising that it became scarce or hard to find these days as I bought it 3 or 4 years ago and I only managed to finish this kit within this week. TFL ;D

@ kasmichan: yup it does and it was heero yuuy (wears a helmet for the zero system) who first test the epyon on its first combat
@ Winn: I couldn't agree more!

in GvGN+ epyon really lacks the range weapon..but doing combo's a breeze..though it's heat rod extends in a good way..sadly I think in the assault survive game there'll be no wing units..
