Thanks to Goldorak and Gt3ian over at the Robotjapan forums. Bandai looks to be releasing yet another new SOC Mazinger (this time based on the Manga look) with added poseability. You just know there's a Great Mazinger coming after this.   Gold |

Looks like it's coinciding with the new Mazinger Z anime coming this year. Title is "Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z Hen". Mazinger Z is using the original manga/OVA design but a bit buffed-up and using the TV anime colors.  The colored toy  The Scrander is rumored to be the one shown in the pic below.  |

I hope Bandai will focus on the new SOC like Daitarn 3 & Dygenguar and Aussenseiter instead of reissuing those old SOC with slight modifications or different colour schemes.I was really hoping for the news of new SOC being release but everything I heard are only news of reissues
