Is the PG astray gundam worth buying?
we all know that PG`s are really costly but are they really worth it?
i saw this one thread where the man said that PG are time consuming, money wasting and space occupying.
so what do you think? thanks po in replying!

i saw this one thread where the man said that PG are time consuming, money wasting and space occupying. Most PG's are worth it for me. Time consuming and space occupying doesn't really justify how they are worthless. As for Astray though, based on the pictures released so far, I would not go for it. If you're not able to get the pre-order special edition with 2 katanas and clear parts, I suggest you get a different PG kit.

"PG are time consuming, money wasting and space occupying. " the dumbest line i've read haha
better not mind that dumb line coz PG's are supposed to be time consuming, money wasting and space occupying because HIGHLY detailed BIG kits are supposed to cost more money, takes more time to build, and takes up more space
w/ regards to your question, i'll agree with zephyranthes, if you cant get that go for other PG's unless your really an astray red frame fan (go to dalong.net for pics)

a google translated version of dalong's early part of the review on the PG Astray Red Frame (so please forgive the "engrish").- "anti-slip" sole attachments at the feet. - generally shares around 20% of the strike's parts. - at least one wont have a problem with the hands' colors.

Hi guys,
i have never built a pg before but i have access to a shop that sells an astray and the special parts.
with the price of a pg though, you could buy 3-4 mg kits already.
and with a lot of smaller good kits lately and coming up (gundams and non-gundams), i am trying to weigh which one i'll get as my next few month's kits-
a pg astray with special parts or mg sword impulse (yes, i was not able to get one. the only shop i have access here had all their sword impulses reserved already - they will get new stock in 3 weeks time) 1/72 armored vf-25 armored core noblesse oblige (i think even a mg shin musha)
i guess to simplify the weight-in, it is a matter of quality over quantity. any opinion is very much appreciated.
thanks!

Its all up to you. The PG astray w/ the Special Parts is a must buy because of the Special Parts. they're not mass produced yet. If you're the type of collector that prefer having numbers over quantity, then dont go with any PG's.
