What an opportune number for such a character.
Background:
One of the generic Seekers in the pilot "More than Meets the Eye"
he was first a retcon back story by Takara and later expanded upon by the defunct DW.
Source: greattoys
Contents:
F-15 "Sunstorm"
2 fists
2 Missiles
2 Machine guns
2 wings
2 rear wings
2 rear flaps
1 landing gear
Bio Card
Label sheet
Rant:
Basically a repaint of the F15 seekers. this was is colored well orange not yellow like Sunstreaker.
Please note this is the first time I own one so I have a question for the original owners.................does the original have a letter E embossed on the left shoulder air intake?
Anyway, there is no mold degradation yet but noticed the difference, his plastic used in the face is dull black not glossy and his pseudo optics label is actually red not orange yellow. The Orange molding are smooth and the paint spot on smooth
Also note that the design patterns of his and Destron sigil are now stamped mark.
Joints are quite tight unlike previous seeker modes(especially compared to the Hasbro re-issues)
He has the time and tested rub symbol on his right air intake
Biocard has no "E-hobby" mark though so please input if the original had one.
Don't be asking about points of articulation 'cause, there is none. This is G1 so basically a parts former.
So you ask, buy or not? Well since the DW retcon, well I just couln't resist re-enacting his "wrestling" moves on Jetfire etc.
Despite the gawdy colors though, he is a good buy.
G1 oneness 5/5
Modern standards of articulation...........1/5
