I do not know what in Dr. Brief's name did akira toriyama think of approving this kind of production? Just leave it to the americans for spoiling an iconic product.

stand corrected but definitely not an american. i believe that there was a movie way back in the 90's or late 80's though with cheap effects but they did stay true to the character. not using american actors specially for goku.

Yeah, i thinks i remember that. It was in betamax back then. hahaha but i think it was a malaysian/thai made film hahaha thats a twist XD

Oh and that Thai movie is being released in "special remastered version" with new crappy cg scenes... LOL ;D

Just saw "DragonBall Evoultion" with my nephews. (Had no choice). Here is my opinion
"THERE ARE SOME GRAPHIC NOVELS THAT SHOULD NOT BE TURNED INTO A FEATURED FILM"
DragonBall is one of them. The film reminded me of "Street Fighter", with van damm and the late raul julia. DB Evo also reminded me of "TROY". All of these films are "Hollywood fairytales".
The breakdown of the movie. Scale of 1-10, 10 is the highest...
story telling- grade of 4
special effects- grade of 9
