Good to hear that the prices for Deluxe and Leader Classes are still the same (crosses fingers for Voyager class). Any other Hasbro-related toylines "launching" that day? Like say, Joes? Thanks for the headsup Eric, and congrats to Cybertronphils for hosting the launch. Gold

Thanks Eric. Smaams, the TF universe line is pretty much done. I'm not even sure if Red Alert is coming out in the line (no preorders of it anywhere). Only Japan TF Henkei Red Alert is out. But it sure would be great if they did bring in restocks of TFU at sale price at the Toy launch, particularly Leo Prime for those who still need it. Gold

Nice, can't wait and get in line before the mall opens... Woot ;D Btw, is there a list on what toys are going to be available on that date? A short list would be appreciated so we can prepare our budgets... ;D So there is a really big mark-up on Leader Class since Hasbro listed it at 2.2K petot when converted...

Maybe because they included the shipping cost for the leader class..

smaams... there maybe old stocks... but just like what Gold said, i doubt if new ones will make an appearance during the event... all TF lines will stop when ROTF begins... and they will resume after the ROTF movie promotions end. Gane.. I will post the case assortment and prizes when I get hold of the list... ...regarding the LC price... it has been 3,000 ever since the first movie toys... i wrote a small FAQ about the toy industry in the past ... it describes why we can't just assume a 1:1 price range with the US. here's the link to part 1 --> thunderbreak.multiply.com/journal/item/9

I know how mark ups are to distributors, I worked in as a Sales Rep for a Pharmaceutical company a few years back before I got into animation, but there are still issues in the business that they couldn't divulge openly. And lastly, I know it's inevitable...
And contrary to popular beliefs that makers make more money out of variants and recolors, there's an underlying story behind it that's a little difficult to relate... Well the kid in me always get's the best of me and dreams of cheaper prices... ;D Thankfully were still lucky the distributor still sell these toy lines lower than specialty shops... and they make it available for collectors... Anyhoo, I just hope the Bumble Bee with Spike figure will be available that day and Leader Class Prime (if my budget calculations will allow ;D)

ill just keep it cool i won't rush at the toy launch not like last time. I did that before (1st movie) and most of the good stuff got taken... so I came early for tha TFA launch and lurk around every time a new box is being opened until I get my share of loot. I tried the lock thingy, but no luck... ;D I hope there's more freebies like the cards and stickers again...

The Philippine Launching of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Toys will be highly publicized. Here is the TV Commercial that started to air yesterday, May 15, 2009, in different networks like Cartoon Network. The TV Commercial was also spotted in different office buildings (e.g. PBCom plaza) to maximize reach. Numerous Trimedia promotions, targeting both children and adults, will be unveiled in the next couple of days. here's the TV Commercial --> cybph.multiply.com/video/item/81/Philippine_Launching_of_TFROTF_Toys_TV_Commercial
