:drool: I've been so hot for this figure since December 2008 that I did all in my power to order this jailbait. Anyway here's a little background on the current/reigning Queen of the Queensblade world:

"To all the fools who dare oppose me - turn into the stone statues that line this arena!" Ardra is the victor of the past two Queen's Blade tournaments and current reigning queen. The daughter born from the coupling of the land's highest church leader and the lord of the underworld, she is a cursed half-demon. Eight years ago, using her innate summoning abilities she called forth the demon Delmore, forging a contract with him that granted her powers of "petrifying gaze" and "flesh-rending secret blades", among others, an enormous power unknown to mere mortals. From that point her own physical development halted. Since becoming Queen she has put the army and assassination squads under her own direct control, greatly strengthening them. Using brute force and instilling fear in the hearts of her enemies she has come to wield absolute power - though not used against her own people, who regard her as a fair ruler. Even so this is not the full extent of her power: to prevent its total release she has sealed it away in her own left arm. In her childhood she spent her days as a wanderer, and her younger sister from whom she was separated since birth meant everything to her. To better search for her sister and provide her a life free from care Ardra became queen, but search as she might she could find no sign of her anywhere in the country. The conjurers of the imperial court have predicted among themselves that her sister has perished, but fearing the queen's wrath they have delayed informing her in the hopes that she'll be defeated in the next round of the tournament.

So to get around the "underage" legal mumbojumbo, she just looks underage when in reality she is already a mature adult (yeah right........ :haunted:

Here goes....... Among the Qb warriors, her design is most exquisite and a bit disturbing. She reminds me of well, like Ayane from DOA, quiet,sad, but just as deadly as the next warrior. Just because she looks like a young girl all the more enhances her mystique. As such she has this "omni directional" ^_^6 blades located on her crotch: (as seen in her manual)

Put in a mix of a highly detailed parts and red S/M belted blouse (of which Megahouse never disappoints B) ), gold themed armor extensions( of which all are ridiculously sharp X)) )and a skirt (it is hard pvc not rubbery).

Her eye piece btw is exchangeable.Another extension of her ability of the "petrifying gaze"........kind of like Medusa's stone stare. Her right eye though is......... well not human (similar to Ryomou of Ikkitousen?)Maybe proof of her dual heritage.

Over all she is a very solid and sexy figure but not without some flaws.

Hair design



(of which in the cast off area where you can remove her right arm but not the left).
This may potentially lead to some potential damage to her vest if you constantly remove her clothes.

Same with her skirt, it is a hard form of PVC/ABS which allows it to lock firmly to her hips but leads to potential breakge if you remove the skirt.

Another pain in the @ss ( no pun intended for her QB rivals that is) :haunted: are her crotch blades, though multi directional, the tip tend to fall off,and is quite small.............. you might actually misplace it so please handle with care.

Last but not the least, her demonic armor is so sharp that you sure are gonna poke your eyes with it , handle with care or you might break them.

Aside from these minute faults I really recommend her as a purchase. Nasty, naughty and beautiful. That's how I describe her.

in runou no senshi..it's pronounced as Ardra..she'll be appearing in the OVA because the anime version will end this comming week based on wiki..

there are two versions of ardra available..a limited one which comes with a dark armor and the plain one which comes from the anime..

if you're a fan of QB..you may want to wait for it's season 2..you'll see her in action..her weapon still have some gimmik..really scary..

like tomoe's divine katana, her weapon also response to her..

the OVA are rumored to be extra scenes from each episode( or like ikkitousen GG OVA where there's really no relation at the series)..I wanna see what echidna did to leina after the tournament and also before cattleya faced ymir.I don't wanna see menace-leina..not so hot...shizuka and the assassin girl is kinda nice..

it'll be out after the episode this week..I'm gonna get my own copy from my friend in japan when it's released..don't worry..I know it'll be out in the net a week after the series ended(well..many are waiting anyway so expect it^^)...
