Here are a few updates folks.

Here, I've basecoated my Grey Knights with 2 parts Chaos Black, 1 part Boltgun Metal, then washed with 1 part Pledge Wipe and Shine, 1 part water, 1 part Chaos Black:


Here are the metal Grey Knights basecoated and washed the same way:

I know the weathering isn't that great but it was the best I could do without weathering pigments.

Hi folks,

Here is another update. Metals are almost done. The finish is a bit grainy because the primer was not sprayed on properly. I'm hoping that a layer of Wipe and Shine will even it out.

UPDATE:

Been working on my Psyflemen Dreadnoughts and am having trouble with attaching the parts to each other and the 50% GW parts condition for conversions.



I was thinking of putting pins into the upper thighs then sticking them into putty which would be placed into the lower legs. Any other thoughts on how to do this? I was also thinking of how I could do the pelvic area. Maybe I should just use the GW parts?

I'm not very sure about the rivets. They seem too big and irregularly shaped so I'm thinking of pinheads instead. Suggestions, folks?

Update for 10/29/11

I changed the background to a darker one and I like they way it makes the pics come out.










I'm happy with how the legs are turning out but I am really not happy with the way the rest is coming along... C&C folks?

Heheh, people are a bit mixed up with the pose of the second dread.

Here's a small update:










I did a little weathering on the gunbarrels and highlighted the purity seals. The upper body could use a little more work and I'm thinking of putting flat paint on the legs somewhere; maybe the smaller knee guards? I'm not going to call these done yet.
