guess this is as good a time as any to start my own thread and might as well do it here since the Macross collection part is pretty much dead . since this is the Gundam part of the board... (also have a couple CR and 00R Exia) started when i decided to get the RD 00 just to see what the fuss was about and coz i liked the show, esp. S1. was offered a good deal to get 2 or more so i also got Arios... passed up on Cherudim coz it was a tad more expensive and i was turned off by that bendy yellow thing on the left side of its head. got Seravee set next coz of all the good reviews... no complaints here. got 0 Gundam and found an on-sale Cherudim. 0 Gundam seems the best so far, but i was really surprised w/ how much i liked the Cherudim. btw, i used the hair dryer technique for the yellow thing. ...and w/ my last 2 purchases, it seems i feel a new addiction coming on ;D (good thing for my wallet, i don't collect bad guy mechs ... i really hope they make the other meisters' Gundams from S1.

and to answer some questions... my friend works in HK and comes home on occasion. the Nirvash was available early last week, so he got them easily. the Albion was a pahabol but was nowhere to be found. he checked one last time before going to the airport and there it was. ;D nope. i built it from scratch using some spare office supplies i found lying around ... and i don't know squat about painting. it comes w/ the Mech. Complete Model Lancelot Air Cavalry. it's not in-scale w/ the RD Albion but still a great figure w/ lots of cool extras - clear stand, Suzaku pilot fig, but the clincher was the Zero fig. and the price. here's a pic.

i held the TheEnd (and the Shinkirou) in my hands a couple of weeks ago and passed up on them (i hope i won't regret it). TheEnd didn't really appeal to me... but i guess since it was very nasty looking in the anime, it should be the same in toy form. but i'm definitely getting the Devilfish... gotta get Holland's ride ... if they make RDs of the other terminus types (606, 808 and 909), i will definitely get those too. as for the side KMFs, i'm only aiming for the Guren SEITEN for now... but i don't know how long i can hold out, lol. ;D

@ GN-009 - it's a secret... lol. it's actually translucent, almost opaque w/ a kind of metallic feel to it when hit by sunlight. i've pretty much decided not to get TheEnd coz i bought 2 Type Zeros. i just really prefer the Type Zero. it's just awesome and i've been pining for one since i watched Eureka7 a couple of years ago. now i'm having second thoughts about the Shinkirou after seeing your review, lol. i'm thinking i want a Lelouch KMF. but w/ the 1/60 VT, VE, Armored Ozma and the GX-45R on my list, i may have to stick w/ my plan to just get the Devilfish and Guren SEITEN. @raps - thanks! the Nirvash Type Zero is pure awesome... great to pose, great to stare at, very photogenic, just a lovely action figure. love the pics of your "chikas"... sadly for me i can't collect those coz my wife would kill me! i've been drooling endlessly looking at pics of the Banpresto Klan and Sheryl online... lol. @rainer0 - Thanks! yep, it's the 1/60 DX Alto re-issue. still haven't transformed it nor attached the Super Packs... i'm afraid for the tampo markings rubbing off or getting scratched. here are some old pics of the brunt of my small collection: ...and the other series/franchise that i love: thanks for looking!
