All in all, I think this figure is very good. What it lacks in weapons (since this form doesn't really have any) is the good amount of hands for imitating show poses, and you gotta love that wind-blowing scarf. It's still a few months wait for SHF Machine Hardboilder and I'm looking forward to getting it. Thanks for looking!

I already had the chance to have this set before but I preferred to ditch Ibuki in favor of having a spare body for my Armed Hibiki parts and to sell Zanki to a friend. Now I got the whole set again and I'm really impressed with how much diecast this set has, especially Ibuki and his weapons. As of now I only lack the Vol. 33 Hibiki Kurenai and Todoroki to complete the 11 Kanto Onis and also the non-exclusive SIC Hibiki series.

Finally got this, the last of my SH Figuarts targets for this quarter of the year!

Really love the details and accessories of this figure. I like how the weapons have their "compact" versions which you can clip on the figure itself for a full-gear configuration. And yes, you have to love that Gatling gun weapon, it's just plain badass.

Here's something I did for fun. I took pictures of the Disc Animals that came with the SIC action figures from the Kamen Rider Hibiki series. In the show, these are basically CDs that transform into animals for reconnaissance and assistance to the Onis.

These are the ones commonly seen in the series:


These two came with the SIC Kanto 11 Oni Elite which was a Tamashii Web Exclusive:


This one came with the 3-pack. This was the "repaired" Disc Animal which was in one episode where Hibiki was taught how to repair one.


These are the ones that come with the Hibiki/Armed Hibiki set. These are the ones Hibiki uses in his Armed form.


These are the ones included in the Armed Hibiki Sengoku ver. Just as rare as the awesome figure that includes them. XD


This one came with the Kiwami Tamashii Hibiki Kurenai, which is even SMALLER than the other Disc Animals. Check out the comparison pic!

Kamen Rider Armed Hibiki Warring States ver.



In the peak of the Kamen Rider Hibiki and the Seven War Oni movie, Hibiki's ancestor from the Warring States Era together with 6 other Oni battled the Orochi. However as he was about the use the mystical dagger given by his apprentice, the scene changes to the present time where Asumu finds the history book pages torn. It was then assumed that Hibiki used this mystical dagger to turn into his most powerful form, Armed Hibiki. This exclusive SIC figure is the rendition of Armed Hibiki's appearance in the Warring States Era.

Indeed this is truly one of the best releases out there. It has a lot of intricate detailing from head to toe including the weapons and accessories, and the overall appearance is just plain b@d@$$. I just couldn't say more, but this is truly an excellent figure, a must have for SIC collectors!

This is a pretty nice bike. It's got some details on it, but it could be better in some aspects. I really does give a nice impression on display, and you gotta love the sleek looks of it. One of my complaints would be the lack of gripping hands for the SH Figuarts Kamen Rider W, which might be because they're really getting cheap with production and expected everyone to jumping into the W bandwagon, hence having extra hand sets from the other figures. Anyway, it wasn't a biggie for me since I display it like the first pic above so I won't be bothering about getting the other Kamen Rider W just for a set of gripping hands.

This isn't really one of the rarest bikes for SH Figuarts out there since Kamen Rider Gills wasn't really that popular, and many were after the Machine Tornador instead since it's the one being used by the main character. But nonetheless, I wanted to get the bikes for the series so I had to get this and wait for the upcoming release of Guard Chaser for G3-X. The bike doesn't really have much gimmicks except for the longer horns on the back (I can't remember which part in the series it appeared, though). Nonetheless, I love the metallic finish of it and I'd say this is a very nice "upgrade" from the one released years ago for the Souchaku Henshin series.

DX Autovajin



I think that Autovajin's transforming gimmick is one of the best gimmicks for a Kamen Rider's bike, but I'm not too fond of it so I'm not sure if I'd be patient enough to wait (and pay) for the upcoming SH Figuarts (especially if it's an exclusive) version. Furthermore, I really display them as Riders and bikes, so I don't really think it'd be worth paying additional grand just for a few pics in a robot mode considering I got this non-transforming one for dirt cheap prices. For now, I'll be content with this non-transforming bike for now.

With DX Autovajin (non-transforming)

I find this figure really nice except for the lack of a left grip hand (plus the fact that they can't seem to fit flush in gripping the Faiz Edge). In some angles, the huge thighs seem a little disturbing, but overall this is a very good figure. I already opted for the non-transforming Autovajin since I don't wanna wait for Bandai's SH Figuarts version plus the fact that I'm not that much fond of the transforming gimmick. All in all, this is a must have for SHF collectors. Really nice.

Since I spent the whole long weekend at home, I was able to catch up and reshoot all of the SICs I needed. It was a tough time getting them out of the display area, and I also got into trouble with the group photos since it's quite a chore managing 3-4 figures on the same table. Anyway, here we go.

Really enjoyed taking pics of these guys. They're only 4 inches tall but they're very well articulated, awesomely detailed, and really good for diorama-type displays. Bandai had an Ibuki and Amaki display way back Tamashii Nations Autumn 2009 and I'm hoping they'd release them too.
