Hello! I'm hoping to start this thread for us to have an awareness of the bootlegs that lurk behind nice plastics and boxes. Saber Lily - Original Release Date is September 2009, bootlegs are already in store before the original ones. Price: about 25% cheaper than original. I've seen tons of BL nendroids..some are being sold to known anime shops and some at divisoria..oh and BL pvc statues can also be seen at GH..hehehe tons at shoppesville

And yah, did you know that comic alley is now the leading distributor of bootleg figmas, nendoroids and other fake figures in the philippines?

In CA, BLFigmas are sold at 1,100+ and BLNendoroids close to 500.
I asked a salesman if they're original (pointing at BLFigma Signum, and BLNendoroid Kagami), he said yes. I'm not sure if he's good at lying or he doesn't even know what he's selling. Best I talk to the management about this (their staff not knowing much about the products, or what not).
Last time I visited Toy Kingdom, the BLNendoroids are nowhere to be found.

d**n!! i've already both a saber lily in a store in greenhills (besttoys) which its too late to realize that it was bootleg..
hoe much is the original price of it and does greattoys will be having it on their store??

I don't know if there is but you should check it yourself if you haven't bought any BRS nendo..just looking at it's texture will already tell you if it's orig or BL..not to mention BL are cheaper..oh and remember always that "Actual Item may vary from Illustration"...not all products can be compared or exactly the same from the picture they show in the net..look for actual pictures or reviews from those who already got the item.. |

So true, that bit of tag in most figures and toys we see and buy are based on the fact that most pictures in the boxes are based on the colored and although sometimes not the final prototype. A very good example would be Transformers toy packages where there are clear difference between the prototype pictures and the final product. Just remember that if a bootleg is available in Greenhills look in tiangges to find a better price. I don't recommend it buy you be the judge. |

As a legitimate store we can't really say something like that without being blamed for badmouthing them which could be a criminal offense. We don't want hem blaming GT for anything mentioned in the forum. It's best to say "Buyer beware and buyer be Aware"... |
