I chanced upon this great robot during the 80s when I was in Japan (christmas of 1981), a trip given to me by my parents as a xmas gift for having nice grades in my college days (oh no... kinda revealed my being a senior citizen, hehehehe....)

As I can still remember, it was a weekend when I accidentally changed the tv sets' channel and saw this very handsome robot.Watched it and loved it, thou not a single word in the said episode did I understand.Unfortunately, I was only able to watch 3 episodes cause I had to go back to the Philippines.

I tried to look for a replica of the said robot while in Japan and back here in the Philippines during those times, but I was not lucky enough,thou he usually appears mixed with other super robots in stickers back then(including what's in my avatar).

From what I can still remember in the three episodes I was able to see back then, Daiojah was a super robot made up of three combining parts..... there are three daiojah robots kobaruda,ace redder and kobaruda, lots of combinations can be done.... tank,superjet and a great spaceship(if my memory still keeps up with me)

Lots of weapons to go with him... he's got a mighty sword, a shield, a tremendous superbeam that comes out of his chest area (just like that of other super robots' chestbeams).best weapons are 2 cross like boomerangs and a great bow and arrow (like that of reideen)
aside from this things, I don't know much more about him.

A couple of weeks ago,while browsing thru the internet I chanced upon him and memories poured in. I saw that there are now lots of those hard to find toys of him(during the 80s), but I do believe, in a much much higher price. I swear if I happened to chance upon even one of those toylinks about daoija during those times,there's no way I won't buy it.

All in all, that 3 episodes of daioja......... " it's superdupermega great "... much to the likings of voltes v and daimos.

i'd wish Bandai would make him into an SOC after they do release Voltes V...
