hello guys, i'm quite new here, i hope my question gets answered i was wondering if i can use mr. color thinner with tamiya acrylics, and if not, what can i substitute(locally available here in the Phils.) as a thinner aside from tamiya thinners. TIA!

You can use zippo lighter fluid as an alternate.

lighter fluid? i thought it's used on enamel paints, well i'll try it, thanks for the reply sir!
BTW is that combination(tamiya acrylic+lighter fluid) applicable to ab? if yes what is the ideal ratio?

If you're using acrylic paints you have to use acrylic thinners like tamiya acrylic thinner or mr hobby acrylic thinner or 91% isoprophyl alcohol...... as far as i know zippo lighter fluid can be used to thin enamels especially when you are doing panel linings. But as a to thin acrylics i never heard of it.
