Maids are supposed to serve and clean up messes right? Well instead of a duster or mop(not counting her special edition), this one holds a reapers' scythe ._.

Background:

A girl from the spirit world reincarnated and given human form by the evil Swamp Witch in her quest for domination of the continent, Airi serves every whim of her mistress quite willingly. Used primarily for assassinations, her skill lies in her ability to literally suck the vitality of her enemies simply by touching them. In order to see her conquest become a reality all the more swiftly the Swamp Witch has been sending combatants to the Queen's Blade tournament, and Airi becomes an eager participant.

Her costume is made of spirit matter and can easily be altered at will...............resulting to many scantily clad poses.

The Rant

This has been done before. Ikkitousen, Fate Stay Night,Eva,Melancholy of Haruhi, even Samurai Shodown. Maido maido maido.........man, there are just so much maids that you'll be ready to go bonkers! Don't them japanese ever get tired of maid themed characters?

Well thank the anime god designers for NOT being tired of such agenre ^_^6
This time, the maido san genre gets medieval with Queen's Blade. The character surprisingly is one of the 3 bishoujo villains (Airi,Menace and Melona)triumvirate.Design wise, don't judge the book by it's cover because.........she don't look dangerous at all *w*

The figure design is typical anime sexiness.Curves are all in the right places, oppai fully formed, nipples cute and trim.

Over all a very accurate representation of the lady in the manual. Her costume is easy to take a part, no bleeding of the paint apps (unlike Tomoe's which tends to bleed on the figures' flesh).One glaring feature which you'll notice immediately once you cast off her spirit costume is this............

seriously.......I know the back story is that her costume is made of "spirit matter" but for a woman to have such prominent feature, her panties must be ultra thin or her pudenda is ultra big :haunted: But then again, who's complaining?

A nice touch is that her translucent stand also simulates her "spirit" status (as in full torso-ed free floating entity......that's Ghostbuster speak).....she looks like she is floating above the ground by two shoe heel stands.

Her manual distinctly shows she's wearing one? X))

On a serious note, her scythe is a pain to get in the right position, she keeps on falling off because there's no looking mechanism on her hands.

Caution

The scythe itself is ultra sharp, be careful not to poke your eyes with it by staring at her camel toe for too long. *w*

don't worry about the bra..it might've been removed since when she looses her energy, her clothes disappear so it's normal scenario..and besides, what's with them putting a bra where thier other models don't have any right? they just maintain the line-up for not putting anything on the place that there should even any...

well maids DO use mops and dusters..but Duel Maids don't have those words in thier line-up..instead, they use, swords,staves,daggers,bows,guns and scythe..sheeshimagine maids battling all over the place...I can imagine it's anime and I know it'll be a heck of a battle like QB -_-

yup. well actually I just heard that the first releases of QB pvc's have been re-released..I just saw some in hobby search today and I was shocked that it have been months since they put the pre-order slip..d**n I missed another oppurtunity on getting tomoe....

IIRC, Tomoe wasn't re-issued. Btw, if you plan on ordering hrom Hobby Search............don't! Those guys are xenophobic b@stards!
