Possible Solution to problems with logging in

Hi group, I thought I'd suggest this for folks who have problems logging in.


If you try logging in to any proboards site and succeed but when you move on to the next page you get


"Welcome, please login" again, then try this.






Change the "clock" settings on your PC unit(lower right corner of the screen)


Double click the mouse, change "Time Zone" to


"(GMT+8:00)Beijing, Hongkong"


The reason why some units have problems logging in is because the Time Zone is set "(GMT+8:00)Taipei", which somehow causes proboards to glitch and kicks you out right after you log in and move to the next screen.


I had the same problem logging in with my new laptop. Big Thanks to Sir Dan/Unleashed for teaching me this fix.

also.. try using firefox for browsing..
internet explorer sometimes causes you to be logged-out right after you log in..

and also change the setting to: log me on FOREVER..

Are you using a cookie blocker in your PC? That could be causing the problem.

btw, where are you logging-in?

if its in a internet cafe, use the "forever option" when logging-in.

i tried checking the cookie thingy but i don't know where to find it? nope im using my pc in the office and what's with the "forever" option?

its a time option when you logged in. i think 6 hrs is the default. check the dropdown list.

i have some problems in logging in recently, the thing is i've been a member for 2 years now. this happened to m just now and also in some boards, i'm pretty sure that im using my user name and passsword correctly. is it because i only go to a compshop and happen to use different PC?

i have problem loogindg so i just created a new account and i ask sir malvin and we able to return my post stars ;D
