Good day! I was recently researching on different methods for shipping when buying online and concluded that even with the given expense and long turn around time, Door to Door service is the way to go. This is because of the hassles experienced by most collectors when claiming their items from the local post office. I also read the thread by topnotch97 on PTK which he explained the services available in the US to the Philippines, particularly LBC sea cargo shipping.
My question is, does Japan have a company that does door to door shipping? I'm planning to buy from a contact online (TokyoHunter) and would like to request the items to be shipped via Door to Door service.

yes there is.actually japanpost offers that kind of service. My aunt ussually sends me packages every month.they handle the package with all care and not unlike in EMS Pasay or post office where you can see your package "flying" thru the mid air when they are passing it to the checker.also Japanpost delivers the item door to door if the sender pays the due taxes already and declared to the package itself that it will be delivered straight to the house of the recipient (which they normally do)..i hope my info helped you alot sir..
