it's as easy as e-mailing... after you register at paypal here's a little description i got in their site... Founded in 1998, PayPal, an eBay Company, enables any individual or business with an email address to securely, easily and quickly send and receive payments online. PayPal's service builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards and utilizes the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention systems to create a safe, global, real-time payment solution. PayPal has quickly become a global leader in online payment solutions with 100 million account members worldwide. Available in 103 countries and regions around the world, buyers and sellers on eBay, online retailers, online businesses, as well as traditional offline businesses are transacting with PayPal. Paypal now makes it easy and inexpensive to pay sellers who live half way across the world... Risks: One can easily max out their credit card if they use it unwisely... Caution: Guys, especially the young ones, try not to spend more than your means. Especially now that it is so easy to get credit cards... Banks are practically throwing gold cards at everyone... and Ebay is such a rich resource of our wants. While it can be exciting, it also exposes us to potential problems... hmmm how does Paypal works here in the Philippines?

Good advice. Let's not forget "Laging nasa huli ang pag-sisisi" so spend hard-earned money wisely unless of course you happen to win the lottery : ) The rule always is don't spend more than your budget and if you really want something bad...save on it and pay in cash. It's easy to swipe that card but paying is another thing.

thats true. i've already received letters from BPI giving me three non-activated CCards of each particular company tie-up promos (petron, philippine airlines, sm). i've also received a BPI card last year in which i did not activate but the earlier this year they charged me with the annual fee - which is ridiculously stupid because i never activated the card for use in the first place. even CC companies are now heading direct to companies offering easy-to-own CCs. remember guys, although its looks like a "dream" from the CC companies' point of view, technically a CC is nothing more than an 1-month extension of debt. its better off to use it on "extensively reasonable emergency purposes" only and nothing more. Banks are practically throwing gold cards at everyone... and Ebay is such a rich resource of our wants. While it can be exciting, it also exposes us to potential problems...

As for the Paypal topic: We are still "Limited" because we are still high risk. I work for a BPO and we handle mass payments. My boss told me that we cannot use the PH IP because Paypal will lock out our company's account. We're still a long way from being recognized as a legit financial country. T_T
