Nice idea but since the kits and toys are of different sizes, GT will have to pass on the extra expense to the buyers for materials and printing... the prices have already gone up a bit so it's up to other consumers what they think about this...
I prefer they use the clear or white plastic bags with a GT tag tied on the handle... or better yet give a discount for those who bring their own bags...
Btw avoid using Filipino because of the board rules... I'm no Mod but it's better to read the rules when joining a forum... ;D

I don't care about what kind of bag they use..besides, plain plastic bags are cheaper...it's better if we have our own bag to put the items on for safety..I often carry my school bag when I go there so buying small items are no problem to me..

Oops! Sorry about that.
Anyway, i don't mind if its just plain plastic or anything good quality plastic bags. I just want them to make a plastic bag of their own official name on it. Plus its one of the good ways to advertise.

its all about the ease of carrying and protection of toy inside, not the bag.
those eco-bags like the ones puregold/SM advertises - now that's something both eco-friendly, promotional and practical since we already have a big waste problem anyway since plastic bags are not biodegradable.

I thought about that too but the different sizes of the boxes was a concern for eco-bags because you have to have an expandable one at that... kasmichanI used to do that until I see the ends and corners of the boxes rub off or crump when I get home... jaykho213GT certainly can benefit from extra ads as long as they don't pass the expense to the customers...

Ganewell the box is there to protect the item so getting some crump won't destroy the item..I don't really see the use of protecting the box itself for some buyers..I mean..what's the deal with the box? you'll not display the box with the figure in front of it right? by the end of the day it'll just lay down in your room eating some space...well my room is small so stocking to many boxes is a no-no..

kasmichanI know what you mean... but a lot of buyers prefer a pristine looks on the packaging it is based on the idea of being "sariwa" or fresh from the factory... This is also why we tend to see this boxes in the sale bin... Personally if I really want the item I don't care how the box looks, a good example is my RG RX-78-2 which has really large dents and crumps on the top box... AS the saying goes "to each his own"...

well getting dents is unavoidable..as long as the contents are very good inside..well there are issues on gundams where some parts gets cutted off the sprue which I encountered before but well that's manufacturer's issue since I know most gundams today have thin gates does making it fall off the sprue...
well back to the plastic..hmmm I wonder how much printing cost on plastics..and also to add up to GT's expenses, they have printers for item printing..i think that is already costy..

I don't think printing plastic will that expensive but you need to have it done outside of GT shop unlike the print outs they make in the store which they print themselves... If it's possible, a modular eco bag would be nice so you can resize it depending on the dimensions of the toys you purchase... lots of bags cannot fit those huge MG kit boxes which leaves you with an empty bag and a plastic bag of Gundam... kasmichanThe worst part is when the broken part affected the plastic (specially clear plastic which I experienced with car models) in a bad way or break a part in pieces (worse case scenario and very rare).

If you don't want to paint the whole kit then try sanding the area(s) with a fine sandpaper (1000 and up grit or what ever is the finest grit available) and finish it off by applying clear paint (semi gloss or gloss) to even out the problem.
Sorry for the off-topic reply... ;D
Btw, don't be fooled by supermarket plastics and paper bags:
- Plastics are NOT biodegradable, they are recyclable - Paper bags are not better alternative to plastics because unless they are from recycled paper or used wood they most likely come from trees, and paper can last longer than plastic if it doesn't meet the right conditions to biodegrade...
