've been working at this project for about one and a half month now. This is my 5th project, though the first ones were merely recolors and removing seamlines. It started as a recolor, then tried out some plaplating, then eventually, i was able to scratchbuild and kitbash. I took my Astraea Type-F's GN Beam Pistols and even went through hell just to get those three rifles T___T.
The reason I chose to do this project is because I love SAGA's color scheme and the guns! I love guns! Not to mention that SAGA has 7 of them! And of course, I want my 00 Gundam Seven Swords to have a partner.
Seven Swords x Seven Guns n_n and there are only small numbers of seams to remove and parts to mask.
People have been asking about the "改" or "Kai" (modified) in the name. It's because this SAGA is my own rendition of the Cherudim Gundam SAGA of Gundam 00V. (It's actually an excuse for my lack of ability to do or copy the SAGA of 00V. U_U ). I retained the chest piece, the GN Drive and Shield Bits, and made my own compact shield.
Unlike my "Final Flight of Cherudim Gundam", Cherudim Gundam SAGA Kai looks much better in pictures than in personal. It might be far from what I perceive as perfect but hey, I had a lot of first times in this project. ^^
