First up, for those who want's the Transformers of their dreams but could not shell out the dough... here's good news... all you need are cardboard paper which you can have printed (laser would be best if only they are cheap), scissors, glue and a whole lot of patience... Here's Grimlock but be warned the link is not in English and you'll have to navigate just to find Grimlock... good luck! I don't know if he's offering a download though... This is movie Optimus Prime and it looks awesome!!! RotF Ravage... sadly I don't see a link in this video for the paper model... These are probably Georangers Gaoking but I don't know if it's even available for download... they look awesome... and they combine too... And comparison from a real toy Interested? Check the link below and click on the button next to "Home" if you can't read Chinese, it will direct you to the free section where random paper models from the net is listed... some are dead links though... and it's not as updated as it's used to be... www.3dpapermodel.com.tw/

Here's a paper model of movie Optimus Prime which I assume is around 3 - 4 feet in height... The downloads are free but printing them is another problem since it could run up to almost 50 sheets with the head as big as an adult male's hand and has around 90 parts already... whoa... www.paper-replika.com/index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=viewcategory&catid=3&Itemid=158Here's a video of the finished model for size comparison check out the link above this youtube video... The Gundam Unicorn Paper Model, see the size of that thing?

You're welcome it's a free site so enjoy, I'm redoing some of the colored parts for the Unicorn so I can build one myself.
I know printing colored is way expensive than black and white so if you cannot afford printing everything in color then here's a trick I've done for the Star Wars T-47 Snowspeeder...
This only works for paper models with white and grey as the abundant color scheme otherwise you will need to print colored parts as is...
1. Check all colored parts in the pdf files,
2. If you can export them into other programs that's better, but if not use copy paste,
3. copy and paste all colored parts in one sheet keeping the numbers where they go so there's no confusion,
4. Print everything in black and white while the colored in separate file,
5. Build and when the colored part is needed, check the colored sheet,
6. Cut and paste literally et viola you've built the thing cheaper than expected.
I will be doing the Unicorn this way as well but I'm using a stiffer paper that can handle the rigor of the joints and articulation the paper model has.
I was tempted with the TF Movie optimus Prime but it's mostly in color so for the time being it's a no go for me.

For those who can't wait for the One Piece Thousand Sunny plamo then why not build the paper model... This is not as good as the Going Merry but it's the one available for free... It's a MU storage file so speeds can be a question... www.kaizoku-fansubs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=15&p=379

The Sinanju Paper Model has legs... an update in Paper-Replika has the Leg Parts construction and downloads. Just remember what size you want to build beforehand and with the arms and backpack still in planning, you'll have all the time in the world to build... Enjoy!

I think it's Korean because of the note below the video but who knows...
Somebody had done something to make money out of paper models which starts off at Y100 (?)...
It's called Pabot short for Paper Robot. It's impressive and all but without multimedia support i.e. manga or anime it's going to be a hard sell...
