New Mobile Report Gundam Wing

Ever since childhood, I guess most of you guys have enjoyed this series.

From memories of the local airing of the TV anime series and early releases of model kits and toys.

Everything seems to have come back coz of the new Gunpla kit releases and re-issues. As well as revival of the original series.

What courages me to make interest again on this is the new stories.

If some of you guys haven't seen this go check'em out:

New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Glory of the Defeated (Manga)
-Retelling of the whole story plus original MS illustrations from Hajime Katoki, and some unrevealed information like:
Mom and Dad of Gundam Pilot code named "Heero Yuy"
Wife of Chang Wufei
Half brother of Treize Khushrenada
...and some other intriguing untold stuff in the first TV show

New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop (Novel)
-Setting takes place after events of TV Series, and the Endless Waltz Movie
If you read the synopsis in Wiki, the story's very interesting.
And here's a little background of the main characters:
Code name: Heero Yuy - they used cryonics on him and put him for 30 years of sleep. He woke up again and it was already the "Mars Century"

New Duo Maxwell - son of the original Duo Maxwell, was given the same name by his dad

Trowa Phobos - resembles Gundam Pilot code named Trowa Barton. Again, a person with no name and carries a code name

Katherine Oud Winner - younger sister of Quatre

They pilot Mobile Suits(Gundams..?) Snow White, Warlock, Prometheus and Scheherazade respectively

As for Chang Wufei, he is now called Master Chang in the story. I guess he's too old during that time

I hope they'd turned into TV anime shows in the future, since both these 2 series' are being serialized. ;D

Just got curious and because I followed this series when it was still on TV not to mention the kits...

Gundam Wing practically opened the door to most Gundam followers outside Japan and before Gundam Seed and 00, it was the most popular of all the Gundam franchise. With its popularity, the rest of the Gundam series before picked up more followers and the rest is history. Gundam Wing is also rumored to be the "story idea source" (sorry could think of a word) for Gundam Seed.

Just an FYI:
Gundam is referred to the mobile suits made with the Gundamium Alloy in this series unlike other series wherein the Gundam have a different meaning.

Gundamium is the decendant of the Gundarium used in the Universal Century Gundam Universe which they used to build the RX-78-2 with.

Based from the scanlations, it seems that Gundam Evolve 7 is now canonical. Paragraphs 1-2 and 8-10 from Dr. J's statement in the novel are the same exact ones he spoke during the Evolve shorts. Also, the assault-use beam cannon she (Lt. Kathy Po) mentioned seems to be the one Heero destroyed during the events of the Evolve. If so, the Evolve short happened in the spring of 196AC, 8 months before Mariemaia's uprising.
