Well it looks better than the other CG series with cylindrical lions... hopefully with the return of old favorites, they will not mess it up for the "veterans" (a figure of speech)...

As of posting it was mentioned in Collection DX that Mattel (Barbie and He-Man) got the license to produce the toy line... so if memory serves me right, this will be an expensive toy line with (hopefully not) mediocre articulation. Mattel will come out with both Go-Lion based toys and Voltron Force toys much like Bandai with Thundercats. The series will have 26 episodes and will be shown on Nickelodeon... As of posting no news is available on when the series will begin nor when the toys will come out...

Considering that they'll be coming out almost as close a that of Thundercats, a trailer should have come out by now to satiate it's older follwers...

As I said before "It remains to be seen...", I like the Toei Animation better than this iteration... not because it's made in the Philippines but this new Voltron Force makes me feel cheap... It's like a bad Flash animation from a big company like Nickelodeon, I'd expected something in the looks of Generator Rex or even the new He-Man... I'm liking Thundercats 2011 over this... Personally the work we did for Fantastic 4 was better than this... ugh! But if the pay's good, Nick has been ripped off... I do hope it picks up in the series better the trailer... Anyway it's slated for June 16, 2011 with 26 episodes... For those whose having a hard time waiting for the video to load in Robot Pilipinas here's the video:

Here's the combining Voltron scene... personally it looks good but over all it's an epic fail... Might as well watch the old Voltron series and imagine it's the new series...
I don't know if this is the same video as before as that one was removed... so here goes...

This is a personal take on Voltron Force 2011 Kudos to the people in Toon City (I might know some of you, but yeah...) who did work on this animation but I will have to say I deeply regret having to know this Voltron Force exists...
Knowing the original Go Lion was partly created in the Philippines by Toei (One Piece, Power Puff Girls Z, etc.) it's sad that Voltron Force now takes the European Style of characters and has bad designs (other than the lions) including the Robeasts... the freakin' buttons for some weapons are so far from the pilot he/she has to reach out?
Anyway, this is one series I want to erase in my memory... really... I'll enjoy my retro Voltron any day than this... Go Voltron!!!
