I just want to share this information since I got an email today regarding a US Visa on my name via the Diversity Visa Lottery.
I did my research as soon as I could and lo and behold this was a sure fire scam.
The scammer will know your details (I don't know where he got mine) and all which can be found in the net (not full details however).
So far the scammer uses the same address but of different names like:
- Michael Dallwitz
- Allan Hall
- Peter Burton
- Peter Randall
- Gary Cochrane - this one I got
