Another update, it seems that the there will be an "individual release" set for "Giant", which will be in G2 Yellow! Supposedly the complete giftset will be the traditional green colors.

I don't know if it's just the angle of the pic or if Hercules is spread too much, but I'm surprised to see Giant to be almost as tall as Herc? I prefer the Giant in terms of detailing. The Hercules looks a bit too blocky IMHO.

There was a problem with the set 2 of Giant, some fragility issues with transforming the grills and forming the head. Maketoy is including replacement parts in set 3.

Sorry to necropost, but I've been trying to get a hold of Type 61 for the longest time, and greattoysonline is the only place that has it in stock for a reasonable price. Problem is, the site is all wonky for me (a lot of json errors when it comes to filling in the address), so I can't order it.
