Just recently started this financially painful collection thanks to the over-convincing words of Bro Malvs and Robin... and what better way to accelerate the collection than with the newly-arrived YF-29 DURANDAL VALKYRIE featured in the Macross Frontier Movie: Wings of Goodbye. Even though it was just released a few weeks ago, I heard that this baby is very sought after and stocks are getting scarce. Thank goodness I got this one in early - so early in fact that I didn't have time to do a lot of tinkering and was only able to shoot some pics last night. Will post more pics as I can find available time. Box.  Styro tray.  Fighter Mode.    Thanks for this awesome Valk Malvs! ;D |

Battroid Mode pics (skipped Gerwalk mode). I found transforming the Durandal a bit more difficult than the previous MF Valks. I had a hard time removing the back gun pod and the leg missle pods for fear of breakage. The canopy didn't clear the Battroid chest area easily. And it was tough aligning the new crotch locking system. But overall its awesome in Battroid mode and the tallest one by far in the DX Chogokin Valk line.    And i was lucky to have been given this DX Chogokin YF-29 poster with Alto, Ranka and Sheryl.   TFL! |

great stuff gevaudan ;D its really hard to chose between yf29 and vf27  both figs are great just thought of sharing some pics and comparison pics of yf29 with vf27 and vf25 mac frontier valks  fighter mode  yf-29 the pilot can be removed from the cockpit and the cockpit can be transformed to 2 seater  vf27  vf-25s   gerwalk mode improvement on yf 29 is the "A" stance much better than the vf25  battroid mode improvement on yf29 its taller. quite proportion with the body IMHO it also has the articulated hands   missiles and more missiles :lol:  close up pic  oh btw the turbines? can be seen now when you take off the cover  comparison pic with voltes v its taller but its kinda overpriced, yes it comes with stand. but the supposedly upgrade parts should at least be included in this figure not another tamashi exclusive item  |

YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie Super Parts.  Set includes 2x Wing Extensions, 2x intake covers, 2x Engine Boosters and Shield Extension.  Wing Extensions open up to reveal more missile pods and front part extends and opens up to I-have-no-idea what it is.  Engine boosters extends as well.  IMO the Super Parts are a bit expensive for just a small set of upgrade pieces but it certainly makes the Durandal look even more badass.  |
