Collectors here pretty know much which stores sell the original stuff, so it's best if you buy your stuff from there. Though I wanted to say which stores sell bootleg stuff, it's against forum rules. You can consult the collectors which stores sell the genuine stuff.
It's too bad the Square Enix doesn't bother to place any hologram stickers on their stuff so that the original ones are easily identified. Thank God Gainax places at least a print of their logo or a sticker on their EVA stuff.
