Hmmm matanong ko nga sa inyo mga guys why do you want to watch anime? are there any reason why you love it? ;D ;D ;D
I want to watch anime cause its very entertaining and fun to watch with. There are wide variety to choose from and lot's of titles to watch kung baga anything goes. I also love those large eyes and have a very unique drawing and story line compared to the western cartoons. ;D ;D ;D I love them a lot ... ;D ;D ;D

japanese animation is the best. better than american and korean or any other animation for that matter. plus only the japanese are crazy enough to come up with the stories and characters found in anime.

for me, its basically the story... animes have better story lines than conventional cartoons and most cartoons are aimed at younger audience.

i luv anime bec. its funny , entertaining and have a gud story line not to mention da girls of anime are hot. heheh. :-)

Anime's complete........ there's drama. comedy,tragedy, suspense, sometimes it's a thriller, a lil of rated R, romance and most of all.... the ACTION's really amazing. Let's just say that the movements of every characters are limitless....... every imaginable , even unimaginable, explosive scene can be allowed to pass with no layoff (ofcourse the negativity of camera tricks are absent)
Best of all, most anime are designed not only for the kids but also for the young at hearts. I don't really believe that the kids are the only ones who are the viewing target of these animes......... IT's REALLY INTENDED FOR US..... damay na lang mga kids, hehehe....... ;D

hmmm do you think that Anime is a much more violent than any other cartoons? anime can be very explicit. but then again those types of anime are intended for adult viewing. there are animes intended for kids to watch without it being too violent. as for other cartoons, they can be as violent as animes if they want to but only if they're target were adults as well. just my opinion.  |

For anime tv series in japan, the less violent ones are aired late afternoon while the more violent ones which are intended for teens and up are aired in late evening. For the R-15 and up, they are only aired in BS channels (satellite broadcast) which have parental control |

i watch anime because i find it relaxing. besides, if the masses like those PBB and telenovela stuff, this is what i want to watch.

Because compared to a lot of "real ppl" shows or western shows.. *cartoons*... JAP anime has really serious story lines... You can learn a lot from them... Sometimes they teach you about jap's history.. or culture... Plus, the characters are so KAWAII! And, you can really co-relate your "experiences" to the anime you're watching... The stories move you... The action is in a different level... You'll never know what might happen next... ETC ETC
