Hello to all Blood: The Last Vampire and Blood+ Fans just saw this info from one of my sources...hope magawa un movie kasi i cant imagine how cool it is

According to MovieHole, director Ronny Yu (”Fearless”, “Freddy vs. Jason”) has cast the lead for his live-action adaptation of the Japanese animation “Blood: The Last Vampire”, which tells the tale of the last remaining vampire, as she joins forces with humans to destroy creatures terrorizing an American military base in Japan. (No idea if the live-action movie will transplant the plot of the anime, though.) If you’re an Asian movie fan, then you already know who Jeon Ji-Hyun (or Jun Ji-Hyun) is; she’s probably the most famous South Korean actress since her hit romantic comedy “My Sassy Girl”. The live-action “Blood”, re-titled “Blood Vampire”, will be shot in the English-language with a budget of $30 million.

so Jeon Ji-Hyun gets to play Saya, huh? it'd be interesting to see this... Is the story based on Last Vampire or Blood+? ;D

yeah i remember Jeon Ji-Yun from My Sassy Girl..watched it twice...english subtitled though

and i also watched Blood: The Last Vampire 4 times in a row coz i bought a vcd version

i hope the rumored live action movie would become a reality

any news on this? im excited about this a lot, i just finished blood+ the other day, and i have to say it's one of the best stories i've seen in anime ;D. i hope they make a condensed movie version based on Blood+

So, it's Jeon Ji-Hyun...well, that will be cool if she does play the part of Saya. Any word though about the movie?

i think its confirmed that Jun/Jeon Ji-Hyun will be playing Saya in the live-action movie adaptation of Blood:The Last Vampire..

hmmm..im seeing/wishing Samuel L. Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones would be playing the two supportive characters who are with Saya (i forgot the names)

no other named actors/actresses yet are being released even the rumored director of the film...but i think the movie would be released sometime next year
