Heard lots of praises on Warhawk's gameplay, unfortunatley I'm not much of a fan of online games. How responsive is the sixaxis control btw?

Sony finally unveiled the long-rumored petite version of the PSP. Here's the scoop from IGN:
July 11, 2007 - During Sony's E3 2007 conference, Sony Computer Entertainment President Kaz Hirai debuted the long-rumored redesign of the PlayStation Portable. At first glance it doesn't look very different, but Hirai insisted gamers would be able to tell the difference as soon as they laid hands on it.
The new PSP will be 33% lighter. It also will have the ability to output high-quality video, to a TV, for instance. Users will be able to connect the PSP to a bigger monitor and share their photos and videos.
The PSP redesign will be available in September in Piano Black and Ice Silver. A PSP Entertainment Pack will include the Ice Silver version, Daxter, the UMD Family Guy collection, a 1GB memory stick, and will put gamers back $199.
Oh, and right after this announcement, Chewbacca walked on stage. Microsoft and Nintendo conferences: pwned. He was there to announce another new PSP pack for Star Wars: Battlefront. It includes the new Battlefront game, Renegade Squadron, and the Ice PSP with Darth Vader printed on the back.

ISOs are generally optical media data that were ripped directly from the cd/dvd/umd. It's not limited to PSP or PS1 or PS2, there are ISOs of Xbox games, PC games, or any optical media for that matter. So far, PSP & PS1 ISOs can run on the PSP with the help of homebrew. Legitimate PS1 games for the PSP can run without the help of homebrew. There's no way to run PS2 ISOs for the moment as far as I know.

The only major downside that I see is that you won't be able to pair it with the PS3 to use some of it's features like remote access. Then there's the possibility of bricking the psp during the modding/downgrading process, just make sure the shop could vouch for your psp if something goes wrong.
As for the games, they sometimes compress the games to save space at the expense of removing the music, images, & even the fmv. Ideally, you should get a 2gb memstick so you could load more than 1 game & some games could go more than 1gb.

Yep it's included in the game but getting to watch this requires alot of time and patience. >___< Too bad they just used one dance sequence for all the characters.

I would recommend you go with the big screen lcds. Multimedia projectors have a very short lamp life compared to lcds since they are designed to be used on short presentations rather than long-term viewing.

Get a PSP with a 1.5 firmware and install a custom firmware. Some shops in SM's cyberzone & Viramall area sell PSPs with custom firmware already installed. Also try to get a 2Gb Memstick Duo or higher if you're going to use ISOs. Just beware of trojans & viruses if you're gonna get the PSP from those shops. My brother got his modded PSP from one of these shops and found a trojan residing in the memstick. Probably got it when the shop loaded an ISO to the memstick. Here's a link to tell the firmware of the PSP from the box: www.devhardware.com/forums/gaming-consoles-77/psp-how-to-tell-what-firmware-version-from-the-box-92415.htmlYou could checkout this link from wikipedia to learn more about PSP homebrew: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psp_homebrew

I'd probably go with PS2... But ever since I started working and having lots of extracurricular commitments, I hardly ever had the time to sit in front of the tv and play. This is why I love my PSP.
Also like archaznable mentioned, you should aim for the PS3 if you don't mind the hefty price tag. It's backwards compatible with PS1/PS2 games. I guess it all falls down on the PSP's portability vs the PS2's game library.

If you want fast cash try the roulette trick in the casino. Distribute your chips on the table (i.e. put chips on all black or red, 1-20, etc). Then press the Guide button on your controller to bring up the dash board. Make sure you press the guide button BEFORE THE BETTING ENDS. If you win then return to the game, if not then just quit to the dash board & repeat the process.
But beware that this trick has a small chance of corrupting your save data. The game autosaves when the betting ends. By bringing up the guide button, it halts the saving process. Just incase you've pressed the guide button at the same time as the betting ends, I would suggest you proceed with the game to avoid risking data corruption. I've tried this a couple of times without any problems, unfortunately Tecmo released a patch to remove this exploit. But the nice thing about the patch is they increased the money earned in vball & jetski.

IGN gave a 6.4 rating to DOAX2. Their gripe about the game was there wasn't that much of an improvement in gameplay & presentation over the first one. The graphics is still hands-down topnotch though with some very minor clipping issues. I guess if you've played the first one, there's not much of a reason to get this sequel.

No prob, it's Extreme Gaming Grounds. It's like a glorified net cafe dedicated to gaming, which is also operated by Netopia btw.

I'm not sure but I think E.G.G. might have it in their service. I believe they have a branch at virramall, glorietta, & ATC.

Funny, I also have the same reason to get the 360 hehe. ;D I'm glad Itagaki added more minigames. Though the volleyball game from the first one was fun, the addition of other stuffs is quite a welcome. I hope to hear more from this game, the jetski race looks fun.

I see, I can't wait for the dl to finish. I've been waiting for another C&C sequel, looks like I'll be enjoying this one just as much as the previous C&Cs.
