Here's an interesting dilema that I'd like to ask everyone's opinion on....
I've got enough extra cash for just 1 item -- I'm choosing between a MMM Aile Strike or a FIX Deep Striker. Assume that both are priced the same at P5k. What do you guys suggest I get?
Both are rare/LE. One is a highly detailed plastic piece and the other is a not-as-detailed metal skeleton mech. Both are made in china (I believe).
So, what do you guys think?

If you're a katoki fan and would like a highly detailed "display only" PVC piece, go for the deepstriker... If you're after die-cast and articulation (deepstriker mode has close to none) go for MMM... knowing bandai, they might eventually reissue MMM like the deepstriker if demand is high...

yup. nasa 5k ang presyo nya. the deepstriker box is three times bigger than your average FIX box due to the amount of accessories it contains. like i said, marami syang transformations, kaya marami accessories.

deep striker - sheer coolness, sheer massive design. its also nice to play around with but its better off hanging in a display stand. you can also have it converted to its 4 modes (s, ex-s, bst and deep striker) which means there's a lot of extra unused parts.
mmm aile strike - diecast articulation, size, posability. honestly i'd suggest you get the GQ model impulse variants instead - this strike gundam looks somewhat fat (the best strike designs for me are the MG and PG versions).

Thanks for the replies Yeah, I have to agree that the deep striker brings about a shock and awe due to its sheer size just of the box alone. The mmm aile strike has one thing going for it -- the die cast skeleton! I'd say the weight alone is enough to make you go ooohhhh. I find the GQ Destiny models....bland. Though I have to admit that everything else does look bland compared to a Katoki piece Wish the added some...stuff....detailing or maybe pannel lines or "warning decals" to the GQ Destiny kits so they don't look too toy-ish. Again, thanks for the feeback and keep 'em coming

I choose articulation over design. Get the Metal Material. It will also let you feel that you have an exclusive center piece for your collection.

wow. seems like a lot of us would rather go for detail, size and coolness factor over durability, weight and poseability. either that or the deepstriker is just too awsome compared to the strike.

your choices for metal gundams are quite limited... there are less than 10 metal gundams available.. so for some of the wonderful pieces, u have no choice but to get Fix figuration versions instead

the strike is simply equipped with the aile pack, the standard beam rifle, shield, beam sabers and armor schneiders.
the deep striker is equipped with incom units, a customized beam smart gun, beam cannons, beam sabers, an i-field generator, and an anti-ship cannon and such.
besides, GFFs are known to have exquisite and intricate details all over.
i for one would go for posability and durability but heck, the deep striker is something that would tip the scales over everything.
