hi! just wanna know ur opinions about this... which do you prefer? KITS or FIX???
as for me, i only have my eyes on the kits bcz they have the 1/100 scale... mostly mga FIX na nakikita ko maliit (1/144)... meron ba FIX na 1/100??

fixes are only 1/144 or around that size. f you are good at painting kits or customizing them then go for the kits. you'd be putting ur skills to good use. but if you are a frustrated kit builder like me, go for the fixes. detailings are superb and can compete with most customized kits out there. plus fixes have that kick@$$, bad@$$ deepstriker.

Price wise? Go for the kits But if you're a frustrated model painter like me or don't have time to build and detail a kit, then go for the Fix....if you have the budget for it. There's what I call the Gundam FIX Frustration -- you don't want to open it and take it out of the box coz it looks cool as it is in the box. Something like how collectors feel about openning a toy and being afraid that its value will drop if the toy is played with.

hahaha. GFF= gundam fix frustration. i like that. nice one zephon.
BTW a kit building friend told me that although the kits themselves are cheap, the time and the expenses for the materials needed for a kit look awsome are a lot. so it all depends on how hardcore you are when it comes to building kits.

there are some kits that do not require paint nman db? like PGs ang MGs? i also like building things... it's really fun assembling them... but do kits and FIX have the same articulation?

nga pala, though GFFs are pre-painted and prebuilt, most of them have transformations and optional parts that require assembly. and some, like the deepstriker, have so many optional parts and transformations that shifting it from one form to the next can be as fun as building kits. it may even be challenging for some as stated in a review that i read.

GFF are non scale but is pretty close to 1/144
Pros -High end. Excelent painting for a mass produced figure. -Limited edition -Most of them don't have any kit counter parts or have original concepts not implemented on any kit. - Katoki Vision of Gundams - Some are even heavier than 1/100 kits like the GP02
Cons -Price -Limited Availability -Since it's mass produced it has seam lines and some paint bleeding is some places. -Not very poseable -Optional parts tend to fall off -Made of soft PBC can and will bend with heat. You need to store it in a cool place (gashapon sickness)
So even if you paint kits like I do it's still a good thing to have. Imagine a 1/100 Deep Striker.. It will take up a lot of room. The Fix Deepstriker will fit most shelves and is a lot more practical. They also come up with lots of cool designs concepts...

i prefer kits, articulation and details are much finer in the kits.
