well here are some in-prog shots... think this looks the most dramatic... img502.imageshack.us/img502/527/p10507428ab.jpgimg506.imageshack.us/img506/7292/p10507446st.jpgI got the idea while browsing some site and one of them had the series of composite diorama and one of them was Goof holding down GM by its head with the sword high on air just about to struck with it... well after sveral test think this is the best position... RX-78-2 is holding Zaku down by knee and raising beam saber to struck its head... after fearce battle where both sides received a lot of damages - Gundam is missing right arm and much of armour on its legs while Zaku lost its right leg and much of armour on the left leg plus its right arm has been but off... started on x-mas eve (yea missus and kid are away for holiday with me being home keeper... ) but after done some pre-assembly haven't had time to do anything further atm... still a lot to cover - further mod on models and redoning the base (wasn't happy with dinky base I made on CD jewel case) and etc. and that's before even starting seam line fixing and painting...

- more damage on the conductive cables - skid marks on the back/underside of the zaku - have the intact hand of the zaku "trying to reach" a heat hawk as a desparation attempt - have the gundam "pin" the zaku's chest with the damaged right leg (something like a ninja style thing)

the zaku has to char's in my opinion since the rx78-2 won't be easily damaged by a grunt zaku ;D Nice

V2 Assault: thanks for the input... haven't thought about the heat hawk... (guess I will have to assemble that one too) damage model is in progress and will be done more along with the painting. Those are just temp marks for further decoration...
i'm thinking of putting zaku's left arm with the heat hawk and being pin'd by Gundam's right leg frame...

nice development.
it would be nice too if you added "chipped" and parts of the lower right leg rather than have it "naked". some damage on the head and foot areas would be nice as well.

hope I get dremel tool to simulate that - that's something I can't do much about using just knife and cutter...

what would be the best way to emulate broken shoulder socket module?
looking at my PG Gundam it's big square module with shoulder armour attached front and back... assuming the armour has been blown away what would be the better way to simulate that shoulder module? I've been constructing using pipes and plastic strips but it's much harder than I anticipate. Sad
Maybe I should make epoxy module and cut/chip away to simulate the damage? (was hoping to do what's inside the shoulder module with the pipe but I'm running out of scrap pipes that I've found in one of my old junk box...)

I'm thinking of two ways to go about based on the internal frame drawings from PG Gundam manual... however to duplicate that in 1/100 scale isn't easy... I may go with epoxy route since it'd be easier though less in details -
