yah napanood ko rin kaninang 8:30pm on hero(skycable) well the dubbing is not that bad at all, and besides pilot episode lang yong kanina, lets wait and see nalang for the other episodes to come kung pangit talaga ang pagkadubb. basta ang iportante ay napapanood na natin ulit ang VOLTES V!!!!

i'm wondering what happened to the original english dub version of voltes V. i've downlaoded the series from: www.boxtorrents.com/details.php?id=10496medyo may katagalan lang coz of the large file. in my opinion, i like the original english version. the filipino-english dubbed version seems "alanganin" in the dialogue. siguro i'm biased because i've seen the original english version before. hehehe

english version is still the best, corny kasi ung dialogue nila sa tagalog version. then, sandara? WTF?? shes a very bad actress, ang patay ni jamie....

Hero and ABS seems to be OVER HYPING voltes V once again. Like what gma and telesuccess did a few years back, but they had the excuse because it was the first time they finished it on TV/ the big screen.
Why did they even call it voltes V evolution? Can't see anything evolving from it.

Yap. I don't think dubbing was the problem but the choice of actors/characters for the series. Sandara for Jamie is completely wrong... Jamie is supposed to be the baddest and most talented member of the group... remember the first episode (she's a deadly ninja!) how she destroyed all guns using a shuriken (is it correct?) hehehehe her voice should be tough enough and not pa tweetums! Anyway... it's nice to see Voltes V again.... it's truly a masterpiece and will live forever I hope my grandson to be can watch it too! Lastly when they finished combining and shouts for "Voltes V!!!!!!!!!!!!!" its pretty pathetic. If I was a bozanian beast fighter I'd laugh for hours (not as menacing and confident as the original).

Can't see anything evolving from it. Think of it like those detergents and dairy products with new packaging. That's it. Anyways, I don't mind Tagalog dubbing if they are dubbing over a language that few would understand like Japanese. After Digimon, I cringe at the thought of any local TV station trying to make characters speak English with obvious Filipino accents (unless of course they're depicting Filipinos), unless they take the voice acting seriously. But please don't dub over American/English shows. It's just annoying, not to mention a downgrade in voice acting quality. It's bad enough that Taglish and bad English jokes can be heard on TV too often. I don't get the decision with Sandara. The main reason she's famous is because she's a Korean cutie, so making her do horrible voice acting makes no sense.

My brother was watching the Voltes V: Evolvution and he was smiling (or rather smirking). I asked "Why are you smirking?" My bro replied " Nakakbwisit kasi naka-sara na ang bibig eh nagsa-salita pa ang mga character" This is what happens when you get people with no dubbing experience and let them dub a very well known anime. Voltes V: Devolution
