Good news! Looks like I stand corrected, Hasbro has announced plans to extend the line into 2008, and more importantly, the line seems to be no longer limited to only 25 characters.  toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=9&itemid=11112Even better news, my friend asked one of the sales representative at SM, and supposedly Playkit has already brought in the line so we might actually get to see them released at SRP prices at the malls soon. However, please remember that sales representatives sometimes get overzealous in their work and sometimes pass along faulty "insider" info. But still, it's better to have some hope than none. Gold |

that is one mean-looking flint figure! great remake, with an awesome looking gun. i will definitely get that one.
and it's good to hear they're expanding it beyond the first 25 figures. hope they re-make other figs (like firefly, spirit, blowtorch and footloose) soon.

I hope they also make the vehicles for the 3.75 line! I hope they include Fast Draw and Law & Order... I had them way back. ^_^

No problem guys. Yeah, sweet as the figures are, it was the vehicles that made the original line fun. BTW, anyone know where I can find a list of Gijoe characters that died in the comics? So far the ones I'm sure got wasted in battle were: -Doc (fell into a pit trap, got shot-up by over a dozen Vipers with guns from above) -Quick Kick (same fate as Doc) -Almost all of Battle Force 2000(I think Dodger escaped? The rest were blown sky high) -Sgt. Slaughter's Renegades(I think Mercer lived though) Anymore info would be great. Gold |

Wow!
This line will put the coolness back to GI JOE!
I remember as a kid it was one of my very first toys and it was everything to me back then, glad to see that the new figs are really that cool, I mean get a load of Flint and his shotgun! that's like totally awesome!

I remember the issue where the Battleforce 2000 died. I wish they're included in the reissue of the figures coming out soon. Hey, the Battleforce 2000 vehicles were cool. They can form into the Future Fortress!

wow snake eyes and stormshadow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!these 2 are the ones who made me collect gi joes. i loved anything about ninjas. my 1st joe was snake eyes (3 3/4) with the japanese packaging. i bought at cebu for 60 pesos then. i stopped collecting when the price rose up to 110pesos. now that im working i still collect joes. now im collecting sigma 6 line. i have the 3 versions of snake eyes. when this joes will be available------f--------t. lampas na naman sa budget!!!!! hehehehehe

cool packaging! thanks, checkmate. do you have pics of the back as well? i think it would look better if the GI Joe logo were a bit bigger and the cobra logo placed on top of the red, white and blue stripes.  btw, i already pre-ordered these three figs on bigbadtoystore.com. can't wait for them to arrive! ;D |
