Heads up, Joe and action figure collectors. Hasbro has unveiled plans to release 25 of the most iconic Joes in their iconic 80s designs this summer. Click on the link to view the designs for the first three figs: Storm Shadow (of course), Duke, and Scarlett: www.hasbro.com/gijoe/default.cfm?page=news&newsid=55D71BB3-D56F-E112-47C9328CC0A2FDF5While these Joes retain their vintage designs and their 3 3/4" size, Hasbro has made them more poseable, and some may even come with gimicks like removeable holsters/ammo belts, etc.

susmaryosep!!! snake eyes, version 1! that one i'm going to get for sure. plus storm shadow, scarlett and the baroness! it's great that they decided to copy the 80s designs as close as possible - and even made noticeable improvements. gung-ho, cobra commander, the cobra soldier and roadblock definitely look a lot better than their 80s counterpart. i hope they also revive the 80s style packaging, though. thanks for the pics (and the dtc pics), checkmate!

The line will be out by June of this year! This is going to be fun! I hope they also design vehicles for these figs. That will be awesome!

Looks like Duke and the gang will be released in 5 packs of Joes and Cobras www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=1264The Gijoe 5 pack Boxset -Duke -Scalett -Roadblock -Gung-ho -Classic Snake Eyes Cobra boxset -Cobra Commander -Destro -Baroness -Cobra soldier -Storm Shadow Wave 1 will have -Flint -Hooded Cobra Commander -Storm Shadow(When he was a good guy and joined Gijoe) -Snake eyes(more modern uniform) -Cobra Officer(white Cobra logo) The bad news is that this line is ONLY going to have 25 figures to celebrate its 25th Anniversary(that's the way I understand it). If this is true then 4 of those figures are already going to be the same character.. bummer... Gold
