A 1:1 of Megatron original Gun version? That will be cool  as a Walther? he'd be the exact same size as the original Megatron, who was already 1:1.  - last "kinda titchy robot mode there" maximal |

After Mpc Starscream, I hope Megs has more diecast .. Gold Amen. However, with the current trend I guess it would be 30% percent only of him having much die cast and 70% more plastic. But who knows? Maybe Takara/Tomy just tested the waters in making MP-03 starcream more plastic than die cast or it could be the cost... ah, we'll never know but I'm glad they had the guts to make Megatron a gun. ;D I think (this is how I feel) they will concentrate more on his robot form rather than his gun form coz really more would prefer displaying him in Robot form along side MP-01 than his alt mode. Plus the fact that you need some sort of display contraptions for his gun mode. Hope they include the energy mace. |

Well, if Megatron is gonna be that large, I don't think they're gonna have any problems about it being mistaken for a real gun  |

wow! that's a relief at least he's as tall as MP-01. : ) Can't wait to see some prototype pics. thanks for the news. i am told that the link says he will be roughly the same size in robot mode. it IS somewhat amusing to note "hardcore" purists calling perfectly sensible people "idiots" [for having ever claimed this would not be done due to its nigh-totally illegal child-marketability in the US] on some boards I've seen. oooh, score. and that Photoshopped picture... oh well. - last "if it floats your boat, man, more power to ya" maximal |

I think its possible that Takara could pull this one off. i don't doubt that at all. if a fan with lots of talent and time on his hands can do it, surely their engineers and designers can work on something with enough oomph. - last "especially since they don't have the same toy-gun/kid-safety laws to have to dance around" maximal |

Holy Cow! I was browsing TFW2005 and saw this! Could this be it?! WOW! If this is it then what an engineering marvel! Or could this be some sort of trickery? You decide. FYI. According to BBTS they will carry this toy, however with either a modified additional orange tip or orange paint at the tip of the barrel. The figure will not be MISB since they will be forced to open it! But you'll still pay $99 for an opened MP-05.  This will make my MP-03 drink Cherifer. he he he he.  |

that BBTS pic is a silhouetted/lowlight pic of the Mark's Projects custom pictured by Faisaijin, i think. Allsparker Kyde posted this today... Masterpiece Megatron appears to be a Fitness First member.  this is what happens, i guess, when you emulate an existing design too closely... it, well, ends up looking like the original design. but this will supposedly be heavier thanks to the diecast, which has me wondering if the joints will be solid enough. hmm. - last "thanks to ACToys" maximal |
