Looks like it is feasible for the yamato 19....although it won't be of much use for me. I wouldn't display it like that. Looks cool though, nonetheless. Looks like they'll release the fast pack and probably the fold booster in 2007! Why 2007? Peace Uhhh... how did you know it'll going to be released in 2007? The fast packs and fold booster I mean?

It says so in their ad. See the big 2007 on the left side? It talks about the fast pack and fold booster. I remember the 1/72, was it?, was also done in this way. Correct me if I'm wrong. Hope the first issue will include the add ons so I don't have to wait til 2007! Thanks to Toysdaily for the pic. Peace

Yup. Unfortunately the 19 doesn't have a lot of accessories unlike the VF-1s. But the VF 11 does. Come to think of it, the GBP armor for the VF 11 is very nice. So here's hoping they do all the valks in MP.

hopefully they release just the option parts in the year 2007. like the ones they did with the VF-1S Striker Packs. and not release another YF-19 with option parts. if that's the case, i might as well wait for 2007 to see it. buying 2 YF-19's is a waste of money esp with the price tag it has.
question: about the Fold Booster during fighter mode. is it attached on the shield area or on the part of the shoulder part? TIA.

It's attached to the back of the legs and shoulder parts.

(pic from the Laughing Man -- not the one encircled) No problem. You can see in this sketch where the fold booster is mounted. Peace

Looks like it is feasible for the yamato 19.... Peace It's unlikely that the wings will fold for the Yamato toy. The wing base is simply too wide, and will take up a lot of space that will interfere with the arm and leg connections. Remember, the actual toy does not necessarily have the same physics as the line art/animation. Refer to this simple paint illustration I did. As you can see from the large 19 picture, the base of the wing is already sitting right next to the calf area. No space to sweep it back like in the line art or anime.

its still possible, as doyusha did it to their VF-19A diecast fighter: www.hlj.com/product/DYSDMM-23but then, this would have to be a challenge to yamato: should they follow the schematics or not for the toys' physical limitations sake?time will tell. and from the "impression" the 1/60 VF-0S they released, hopefully they'll do everything they can.

It is feasible, but Yamato might have to change some things in the design. It won't work with a single hinge design. Still, it is unlikely that Yamato will do anything like that at this point anymore...unless they've already done it as a surprise for us all.
