When it comes to Star wars in the 3 3/4 inch scale, Hasbro has the master franchise from Lucasfilm it seems. They've been at it for years having acquired Kenner (the company that did the vintage SW line).

Any news on your repainting project on Dragon Hawk? I'll PM you one of these days since I also plan to repaint my ROCC. Just need some expert advice. ^_^ Ok guys, after 9 months since I bought this baby, I am now ready to unveil my latest project! 9 months??? Hmmm.....its almost like giving birth! Oh well, enough with the suspense. Here is the before shot: And now, I present to you the GI JOE STEALTH DRAGONHAWK (customized for 25th anniversary figures!) The main concept was to repaint the Dragonhawk to black and to give it highlights to further enhance the new color.. Here's an overhead shot Since i really bought this dragonhawk for customizing, I thought it best to go all the way and have it modified to fit 3 3/4 figures and the slightly taller 25th Anniversary Joe figures. Here you can see a pic of the modified cockpit. Truth be told, Hasbro did a good job on the original dragonhawk so I wanted some of the original paint and design elements to remain, such as the birdface, color of the turret and sensor array, etc. Here's a better look at the fuselage. The jets were highlighted in metal to give it a bit more realism. The flash from the camera was a bit in excess... the jet vents look much better when seen up close and personal! And finally, we have a rejuventated Gen. Hawk alongside one of his pet projects, a suped up dragonhawk with laser pulse cannons! Credit for this project goes to Digit who I commissioned to customize the Dragonhawk!!!! Awesome work partner! Thanks!!!!

How I regret not having discovered this thread of yours earlier! Your SW and Batman collection is outright mind-blowing as well as mind-boggling! Viewing the pictures was an Odyssey! Loved the custom "sail barge". Garvy, your dedication to the hobby is awesomely inspiring! Keep on dude, you are a beacon to all collectors.

I've had a year of hiatus from the hobby, but as they say, first love never dies! Priorities indeed push our beloved hobby to the back burner. Thanks to Spanky, i've been pulled right back in. I recently took home his Aoshima Getter 1 (pot bellied honcho in "Armaggedon". However, toy purchases will still and surely be far and in between. Right now, I am just waiting for the Daimos SOC to fully come to life and get unleashed! Great to "see" you Garvy
