Takara E-Hobby Magnificus and Ga'Mede (Perceptor w/ Microman)TAKARA released a second special Microman / Transformers set in 2005. The new set is called "Destron Joint Force" and is sold by e-Hobby as part of their Exclusive Transformers (TF) Collector's Edition line. After the introduction of the TF Collection Series, the Collector's Edition became a special line for reissuing the "alternate" color versions of G1 TF toys, several of which are the color schemes that were used in original Microman Micro Change or Diaclone series. So in a sense, when Collector's Edition releases included G1 Transformers toys in its original Microman Micro Change, these are essentially reissues of Microman toys.
DESTRON / JOINT FORCE - GA'MEDE & MAGNIFICUS
The Destron Joint Force set consists of Magnificus, a TF Perceptor mold done in its original Microman Micro Change Series MC20 Micro Scope Robo color scheme (Black), and Ga'mede, a repaint of Microman 2004 Microman Walter in an all new original color scheme that appears to be a homage to other popular 1980's sci-fi series. The set comes packaged in the standard Collector's Edition reissue box and included all the accessories that were included with the original version of both toys. - from Microforever.com Here's a little something I did last night while playing with the e-Hobby Magnificus and Ga'Mede set. Here goes: PROLOGUE: Ga'mede was an alien warrior from a distant galaxy, far removed from the worlds of Earth and Cybertron. As punishment for crimes against his own race, he was disembodied and his consciousness cast out into space. After drifting aimlessly for thousands of years, he chances upon the outcast Destron Magnificus. Ga'mede has become obsessed with finding a host. Consumed by his own passions, anger and hatred, he seizes the opportunity to "possess" Magnificus! Successfully merging his consciousness with the outcast Destron, they journey towards Earth. Using the Destron's innate ability of mimicking everyday objects, Ga'mede eventually learns of the existence of Micromen, micro humanoids with super human abilities. In a bid to appropriate their technology for his own evil agenda, Ga'mede and Magnificus plan a covert incursion into MICR, Microman's HQ and Research Facility Using Dr. Burns' genetic template for the Micromen, Ga'mede leaves Magnificus' body and fuses with a Microman sample cell in one of the MICR labs. Upon fusion, rapid cell development ensues and in a few minutes, Ga'mede emerges........reborn! In his wake, he steals weaponry and eventually escapes with Magnificus undetected.......... And so it begins........ Battle worn and weary, Autobot Kicker races back to HQ on his jetcycle, ignorant of the peril that awaits him!Unkown to Kicker, the evil alien Ga'mede lies in wait in a canyon, hoping to appropriate more technology for an as of yet unknown plan.Disarmed in his most recent melee, Kicker is held at gunpoint by Ga'mede but stands his ground. "I'll just run this sucker over!"Lo and behold, Ga'mede is not alone! Magnificus appears ready to aid in the ambush! What to do? Outnumbered and outgunned! With a few blast shots, Kicker's jet cycle flips over but Kicker comes quickly to his feet using the damaged cycle as a shield.....Overhead, Commander Microman and a winged sentry, on patrol, investigating the recent technology theft, witness the one-sided battle.Recognizing the stolen Microman body, Commander Microman calls on on a heavy artillery gunner and they both come to the aid of the injured Kicker! With the tables turned in Kicker's favor, Ga'mede opts to flee and Magnificus transforms into battle chariot mode for a quick escape!"You've not seen the last of me!""I'll be back!!!!!!!!!!!"

hey garvy,
i just recently got batman begins and ra's al ghul... i seem to be having probs with their joints... parang sobrang fragile. i actually snapped my 1st ra's right leg while posing it... without any effort! i got it replaced pero ngayon naman, napapansin kong nasisira ang ankle joints. i've also heard reports that the avp line seems to be having QA probs.
have you noticed that too?

Sadly, Takara Microman have been suffering from these quality problems. That's why I really try to be very gentle with those toys. I've been lucky so far.

Got this from Greattoys today! Acroyear Exo-cardedAcroyear Exo-looseACROYEAR EXO STORY (GRABZ’S JOURNAL) Many years have passed since we came to this beautiful planet with the Emperor. I know...I know this planet begs for destruction and to be under our domination...the planet has only lower grade of lifeforms...how easy for invasion...Optom, Stera and the other members should have finished the task easily until we met the Unknown living Things.....why? Why do they have such amazing powers just when we were about to start the invasion. I had faced these beings...they have high intelligence that is almost unimagineable considering such low life forms inhabit this planet. The low life forms called these beings their "Gods". How strange and mysterious it is that they have similar bodies to ours. Eventually, we lost the battle to the Unknown Living Things, and his Majesty fell down before their powers, but they did not steal the Majesty's soul. He only went into a long sleep. And now the time has come, the seal is broken and your Majesty will soon awake… I can feel that this planet no longer has the power of the unknown living things to protect it. We now have our best chance. After so many years, these low life forms have not yet evolved and are still helpless…like children. Why haven’t they evolved, given that there was so much time to advance? This planet has degenerated and these living beings are just parasites that need to be exterminated. ACROYEAR EMPEROR: The worst Acroyear...came from unknown space. He created the original Acro-Virus and creates new Acroyear using the Acro-Virus. ACROYEAR GRABZ: He came to Earth, accompanying the Emperor. He is the second member of EXO and is leader of the EXO squad. ACROYEAR OPTOM: He was created by the Emperor. He gains pleasure from the thrill of battle, inflicting pain and from slaughtering others. ACROYEAR STERA: Stera was created by the Emperor using a cross between a human female and a prototype Acroyear. Because of this, she has high Acro-Virus purity. Although Stera is cool headed, she can be an extremely aggressive EXO. (Story taken from Microforever.com)

Those are the magne microman. If you check the pics in this thread, you'll catch sight of some. I have yet to take detailed pics of those. Not much really came here to the Phils, with the exception of the original Microman '99 team, and some of the support robots that can actually become add-ons for the mecha robotmen. That line didn't last long as it didn't get support from the collectors. Honestly, I think the figures were just too short. Now that you've reminded me, I'll try taking pics and updating the thread. Thanks, Garvy
