Greetings fellow Gundam Modellers! ;D
I've recently been addicted to this new hobby, I started around 4 months ago and I guess I'll be doing this for the rest of my life. I've been a lurker at this site for quite some time now and feasting my eyes upon your collections inspired me to pursue this passion. (drama ko noh? ) by the way, i don't speak like this in real life.
Anyways, I'd just like to share my collection and PLEASE criticize my works so I could further improve my gunpla skills! Tips and tricks are most welcome!
We all start somewhere and this is what I first bought to satisfy my curiosity about Gundam. The 1/144 Force Impulse and 1/144 Strike Freedom. It's a lousy shot and all I did was ink the panels. I know........boring.
Up next is the 1/100 Infinite Justice. I gotta admit I am a fan of Athrun Zala. Please take note: I don't have a Man Crush on him. Nothing special here also, just Snap built and inked the panels.
My friend told me about Great Toys Makati, so I dropped by and next thing you know I bought the 1/100 Justice! Snap built and inked the panels......again.
At this point my mind was set and my Girlfriend gave me the green light to pursue gunpla! Wahahaha! ;D I think Shinn Asuka is a bad ass, so I decided to go back to Great toys the following week and got me the 1/100 Destiny. Same old banana, snap built and inked the panels....again for the nth time.
Now my mind was getting more curious and I was itching for something different. This time I got the MG Strike Noir. My first ever MG and boy, was I impressed how these mean mothers were built. C'mon guys all together now: Snap built and inked the panels! Very Good! ;D
Now comes the best part, it was near my birthday and I was thinking that my girlfriend would buy me a new pair of jeans for my birthday. BUT WAIT! WHAT DID SHE BUY ME FOR MY BDAY?! It's the mother effing MG Freedom! I swear I will marry her for moments like these!
This time, I grew some balls and decided to do what should have been done from the beginning. I painted it and did the works baby! It's spray painted, sand papered, decaled, and top coated!
From this day forth! I will always buy MG's and do the works of painting them and treating them right! I bought the MG Aile Strike last week and here is the outcome.
The Family Picture
Strike a pose ladies! ;D
That's it for now, what should I go for next? A perfect grade perhaps? Wahahaha! ;D Just kidding, I already got a wishlist ready and my next project is the MG Strike Freedom. I'll update you guys as soon as possible. Peace and Punk On!
