I'd just like to share my '2 cents' on my October 29, 2010 haul. Great Toys has an ongoing sale and I wanted to take advantage of it by purchasing these figs.

Up first...

OSIA Burai Kai (Kyoshiro Tohdoh custom)


Out of the box.

Type-1R Burai Kai (Kyoshiro Tohdoh custom)


Mecha Profile:
An optimized version of the Type-10R Burai, the Burai Kai is created for the Japanese Liberation Front's elite unit, the Four Holy Swords. The most distinctive change to the base Burai unit is the addition of a pair of long, trailing antennae mounted on the back of the head. Its performance is also upgraded, putting it about on par with the Britannia Empire's elite RPI-209 Gloucester unit. Though capable of wielding the same weapons as the standard Burai, the Burai Kai's primary weapon is the brake blade, a chainsaw-bladed katana. Although proven to be an exceptional machine, all five Burai Kai units are abandoned following the Japanese Liberation Front's retreat during the Battle of Narita, and the Four Holy Swords eventually upgrade to the superior Type-3F Gekka.

2 cents:
I got this figure for an extremely low price and it was worth every centavo. This figure is still in the OSIA line so its quality ain't on par with that of the RD yet. The articulation of the knee joints are limited but it ain't a hindrance. The machine gun was just an added bonus to make up for the lack of accessories. Overall, its a great fig of Tohdoh's Burai Kai and I recommend it to Code Geass fans.

Character Bio:
Ryō Ashihara (葦原 涼 Ashihara Ryō?) is formerly a star swimmer of Jyohoku University. His future as a swimmer almost came to an end after a near-fatal car accident. After he healed, he started swimming again, but he has undergone a metamorphosis, enabling him to transform into the feral Kamen Rider Gills (仮面ライダーギルス Kamen Raidā Girusu?).

One of the best SHF's I have to date. I simply love the organic and beastly design of this Kamen Rider. I most especially love it's SHF incarnation. I bet the SIC version of this Rider is gonna be awesome as well. haha!
First off, I simply love how bad pwet this fig looks even in stand alone! Good thing the stock I got had no issues with the paint job and no issues with the sculpt as well. My rant about this fig though is the joints in the ankle part. Since it doesn't use diecast metal there, the joints are quite loose. Visually the tendril thingamajig extruding from the back looks awesome but honestly I had a hard time playing and posing with it hence the limited action pics on that part.
Overall, great fig and probably my top 2 fave secondary SHF Rider to date. So don't be surprised if my next purchase is its main form, SHF Kamen Rider Gills.
I uber highly recommend this fig to anybody and everybody.

amongst all burai variants i kinda like todoh's custom unit to be the best. how are the elbow joints? its been said that some OSiA burai releases has fragile elbow joints (cracking).

SHF Kamen Rider Faiz

Character Bio:
Takumi Inui (乾 巧 Inui Takumi?) is the main wearer of the Faiz Gear, though reluctantly at first, enabling him to transform into Kamen Rider Faiz (仮面ライダーファイズ Kamen Raidā Faizu?). He is a loner who prefers not to get into relationships with people because he fears he will betray them. Often very apathetic towards his 'duties' as Faiz when there is no immediate threat. Unlike the others, he has no particular dream. He is often teased by Mari for being a "nekojita" (Literally means "cat tongue"; someone who cannot stand food that is too hot or cold). He is 18 years old. It is revealed that he too is an Orphnoch, the Wolf Orphnoch. He was hit by a car when he was young and soon developed the power of an Orphnoch, but chose not to use his power unless it was necessary. Like Yuji he uses his power to protect humans. He was at the Ryusei Juku reunion and attempted to protect everyone from Kitazaki. However, Mari caught him on film and everyone believed he was responsible for the massacre. When talking to Yuji, it reveals that he's a "natural" Orphnoch like Yuji and Yuka. Since the massacre, he refused to transform until he was forced to when Mari was dying from injuries caused by Sawada. As a Kamen Rider, he has a habit of randomly flicking his wrist.

This is an awesome fig. One of my faves in the SHF line right now. The beefed up thighs look just right in my opinion, it makes the figure look more human.
Overall, a great fig jam packed with accessories. I HIGHLY recommend this fig.

Mecha Profile:
In the Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance film, it is shown that Unit 02's helmet is redesigned to have what look like oni horns, and that its shoulder pylons are equipped with a pair of bladed weapons. It also sports more white in several places on its body. Of note, the Eva is able to open its mouth in Rebuild, which was not the case with the original. However, it seems to have lost the capability to partially 'open' its helmet to expose its organic eyes. Later in the film, Unit 02 is placed into storage in accordance with The Vatican Treaty- a law stating that no nation can have more than 3 Active Evas- and with Unit 03 arriving from America Gendo decided Unit 02 would be the mothballed Unit. Mari later hijacks Unit 02 to fight Zeruel, and in desperation, activates Unit 02's Beast Mode which significantly increases its combat ability and gives it a more animalistic appearance. However, Mari is unable to defeat the Angel and Unit 02 is severely damaged, losing its left arm and part of its head.

Now that was a fun fig to play with. I love how the figure could emulate the creepy crawling Spider Man-esque poses. The only con was the lackluster of accessories, good thing Bandai decided to throw in the Lego buildings for fun.
Overall, its a MUST HAVE figure for Eva fans. THE BEAST! ;D

00 Qan[T], pronounced as "Double Oh Quanta" is the successor unit to the GN-0000 00 Gundam, featured in the movie. It possesses a Twin Drive System and will be equipped with a newly created solar furnace.[4] The unit is piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei. 00 Qan[T] is the latest prototype designed by Celestial Being. Its blueprint originated from Innovators and was sent over from Level-7 by Veda/Tieria. A power connector was built between its left shoulder and Twin Drive. It’s meant to directly transfer power from the Twin Drive to the GN Shield, allowing GN Particles to directly transfer over the shield for quick power recharge. 00 Qan[T]’s primary weapon is the GN Sword V, a dual functioning weapon between rifle and sword. Its blade is composed completely of the same material of GN Condensers. The GN Shield is attached to the left shoulder, which can deploy 6 GN Sword Bits (stored on the sides of the shield) and can be deployed as remote flying blades; only two of the bits have particle firing capability. There are 3 different types. The 2 A Bits are long bits which are usable as separate homing projectiles. The B Bits perform in the same manner, but can be optionally used as handheld daggers. The C Bits are similar in function to the A Bits, but are half the size of the latter, and can fire beams. The Sword Bits can be reconfigured as a buster sword or a buster rifle for combat and also generate a GN-Field/portal when positioned together. Setsuna only used this function once to break into the ELS main structure.

Another Setsuna unit that didn't disappoint. I love how bad ass the mold of the figure looks. The accessories and gimmicks were just so fun to play with. Another MUST HAVE for RD and Gundam enthusiasts.

Ola amigos!

I just to share my 2 cents on my toy purchases last November 28, 2010.

I got my 3rd RD Gundam 00 Seven Sword from amigo j.sonic.


The reason for the 3rd Gundam 00 Seven Sword is for having it in the Gundam 00-Raiser displayed with the GN Sword II's.


I now officially have all the RD Gundam 00 molds and configurations. I'll make a pictorial of all my Setsuna units in the near future.

I also got the RD Hyper Wings for the RD Lancelot Albion thanks to amigo shiniduo.


I wanted the RD Hyper Wing set but due to its scarcity I'll have to settle with this instead.


Amigo shiniduo got his set months ago but only wanted the wings for the Guren Seiten. Fast forward to a few months later, shiniduo offered me an offer for the Lancelot Albion wings that's too good to pass up. My Lancelot Albion looks more pimped up now.

Character Bio:
CycloneJoker Xtreme (サイクロンジョーカーエクストリーム Saikuron Jōkā Ekusutorīmu?) is the evolved form of CycloneJoker accessed with the Xtreme Memory, linking it directly to the infinite knowledge of the true Gaia Memory through the iridescent band going down the middle of Kamen Rider Double's body called the Crystal Server (クリスタルサーバー Kurisutaru Sābā?). It also represents the perfect union between Shotaro and Philip, as they become completely one through the Xtreme Memory absorbing Philip and attaching to the Double Driver. Thus when either Philip or Shotaro speaks on their own, their respective side's eye flashes, they also appear together as soon as they end the transformation. The knowledge of this form allows Double to instantly analyze the opponent's capabilities. CycloneJoker Xtreme's Maximum Drive is the Double Xtreme (ダブルエクストリーム Daburu Ekusutorīmu?) Rider Kick; after closing and opening the Xtreme Memory, a twister forms around Double that lifts him into the air to then accelerate him down towards his target. By using the Prism Memory in the Double Driver's Maximum Slot and activating its Maximum Drive as well as the Xtreme Memory's Maximum Drive, it enables CycloneJoker Xtreme to perform a powered-up version of the Double Xtreme called the Double Prism Xtreme (ダブルプリズムエクストリーム Daburu Purizumu Ekusutorīmu?) which extends the initial drop kick into bicycle kicks. In this form, Double wields the Prism Bicker which has its own Maximum Drives. Unlike the other forms of Double, CycloneJoker Xtreme's motif also includes the letter X.

This is truly one of the funkiest SHF's I have right now. It's so weird and funky, I LOVE IT! ;D
The figure is packed with the right amount of accessories and hands to emulate the poses in the TV show. I highly recommend this to Kamen Rider W fans.

The HardBoilder (ハードボイルダー Hādo Boirudā?), designated the "MB1000RV", is Double's personal Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle. Like Double, the HardBoilder is black and green and is also able to change forms by swapping out the back half of the motorcycle after docking with the RevolGarry.

Now this bike was worth every centavo I spent on it. I was surprised with how big the bike is when I took it out of the box. The mold is so awesome and it definitely pimped up my Cyclone Joker. Thank God that this was a regular release instead of the usual Tamashii Exclusive bikes.
Overall, I do not regret getting this bike and now a MUST HAVE in my book. I can't help but stare at it from my display cab from time to time. ;D
